“Needed a refrigerator did tons of research on many brands and places, then walked in Southbay Appliances.. Vincent helped me out, very nice, knowledgable, no pressure checked out a couple of items for price and availability we talked about various brands styles, sizes to fit my needs.. I actually saw something that was on sale by less than 700 from other stores and sites for the same model.. I went home tossed it around with my wife and we went back asked a couple more questions and pulled the trigger.. The delivery came a couple of real nice guys who looked at my place carefully to see which was the best way to bring in the new and take out the old one.. They were careful, thoughtful, friendly and efficient!!! Great experience all the way around!!! 😀👍”

“Hello,
On a past occasion we went in the store after reserving a truck for our shed building needs and when we got there were told by the rep Kirk that we needed to have our cellphone. We lived about 5 minutes away and weren't about to go home to retrieve it. The darn website never stated we'd need a cellphone with us to complete the transaction. The reservation details specifically mentioned only to bring these 3 things: Driver's license, proof of insurance & a credit card. We were very annoyed, so we asked for a manager and Ray appeared and backed up his employee about not being about to change the policy. He empathized but that didn't resolve our issue so we went to customer service to cancel our items which was about 3 blocks away from the rental area to add to our frustration. The returns rep then got a call from Mgr. Ray and he offered to have our items delivered instead to adhere to the policy and not inconvenience us further. He agreed they need to add that 4th item to have on you when reserving a truck. This review for Carson Home depot went from 1 star to 5 thanks to Manager Ray asking Rental Clerk to drive our items to us and save a sale and kept us from complaining to Corporate! Thanks for being customer oriented! unfortunately we tossed the receipt since then but when shopping for hornet poison we remembered to write this experience. On today's visit Garden Associate Anita was kind enough to suggest we spray the poison at night to not risk getting stung. Also, when I went to look at the HVAC kiosk to inquire about something, Associate Rissa was very attentive to not even have me wait 2 minutes when she greeted me and answered my question. You have a very good staff here! I can't say the same at some other nearby stores where I see employees carrying on with each other and not even aware I'm standing there waiting for one to take a breath so I can interrupt their conversation to ask for help.”

“This is the best grill you could purchase. I went through several other main brand grills (e.g. Weber) and kept having to replace them after several years. I have had my American Cooking Equipment grill for over 9 years and it still is amazing (we live in the Hollywood Rivera area so we get lots of marine layer). Also the customer service is AMAZING. Jared has come out to our house to clean the grill several times and is great.”
“We've used David Aikens twice now on our 1950's Wedgewood. He's always very timely in his follow up and house visits, full of knowledge and guidance, and does a great job of repairing, tweaking and fixing whatever we've thrown at him. I would highly recommend him if you ever need help with your vintage stove.”
“If you are in the market for anything that this store sells, please go and do business with them whenever you are able. Customer service like this just doesn’t exist anymore. I called in to Reece less than 5min before closing for a rubber washer that probably cost less than $.50, but was gonna be a lifesaver for my evening. I was a little more than 5min away and Damion, the wonderful gentleman who answered my call, FaceTimed me on the spot to see what part I needed, he then took it out of the store before they closed So he could give it to me five minutes after he had to lock the doors. He totally would’ve been justified to have taken my call and said, “sorry buddy. You gotta come tomorrow.” but what he did without a doubt will have me returning to the store anytime I I am able to give them my business. Thank you Damion!”

“This is a gem of a stationary and office supply store. I was in town for a conference and finished my current notebook. I'm glad I made the 15 minute walk! I got what I was looking for, plus a delightfuly nerdy 20 minute deep dive into notebooks, pens and the therapeutic benefits of writing and doodling. She both new and cared about her work, but more importantly, was just an excellent human being. Thank you!”

“The people was amazing the lady was kind and very professional and patient with me asking questions and talking with my people I had to video chat with about buying a washer and dryer the set up was very very professional and helped moved the other washer and dryer out of my house the washer and dryer I bought was a Samsung with a good warranty from the company for two years with them 90 days the stuff they have are good and clean where most place are not the set I did buy was 2100 but it's financia at around 279 I think but a very good investment to make one think I do know I will be back later to buy from them again check them out parking is down the street in a parking lot on the corner walk down a bit and you will be happy like I am thank you show you the washer and dryer”

“I'm so surprised that blue air has no reviews because we purchased an icemaker for a business that was leaking and normally a company, in our vent experience with other companies, we at times dealt with sweat the customer (us) - or try fix in the unit first with perhaps failed attempts and then we're down in this case our ice machine without any ice. We called and the tech came out the same day to assess the machine and the next day they just gave us a new machine installed it very professionally took the old one away. No hassle no haggling no this or that no finger-pointing that I was by looking forward to or would normally get from another company. (Apology but im somewhat effected from past experience with companies backing their product). So refreshing and super appreciated by us we will definitely use them again and would recommend them for sure to anyone.”

“Super friendly and sell good used appliances. I bought a refrigerator 15 years ago to use at work and was still working when I retired but times have changed and prices are up. It's better to go to Lowe's and buy a new one after searching and searching used appliance stores just to put in my garage. You will pay about $200.00 more for a new one compared to used”

I watched how he dealt with other customers and its customer service skills, management skills, and how he relates to his employees fantastic. “Good prices, knowledgeable staff willing to help you get the right part! My heater blower motor died just before a birthday dinner party. With their help I got the correct motor for a 50 year old heater, Kevin even reviewed the pictures I had and checked the fit of the new motor. It did require a rubber adapter to fit in the old frame. They gave me a good price and had the new motor in 1 day. It was a fairly easy install and my heater is back up and running in time for my party. You might find parts cheaper on Amazon but will it be the right part? How would you handle a return? Will amazon give you any advice? Working with a local company is SO much better.”
“I have owned Zojirushi rice cookers since I was in college over 40 years ago. I had the same rice cooker till 5 years ago. It didn't stop working I wanted a smaller unit for storage.
These units last. Replacement components are available online. Thank you management for helping me return the wrong replacement lid I purchased.”
