Gelson's Market is Long Beach's best gourmet grocery store. It offers a ton to select from, including an extensive floral department, Renaud’s Bakery and Coffee Bar, and a great hot/cold food section with a salad bar, full service deli, and hot food bar. The location also has an amazing indoor and outdoor dining area with rooftop seating and a fireplace, plus tapas and wine from the Gateway Wine Bar. Everything is clean and orderly with nice, friendly staff providing next-level customer service. However, prices are high and the cash registers are extremely inconvenient with no place to put items. It remains a go-to market for many, praised for its best grapes and fruit and amazing bakery items.

Came for breakfast. Enjoyed the ham n cheese croissant from Renaud. FYI: you can buy something from the hot bar/salad bar and consume them in the table area
