Smart & Final Extra! is a warehouse grocery store that is close to home for many, providing a bright, fresh, and well-organized inside. It is well stocked with an extensive collection of really fresh vegetables, fruits, and produce, along with the basics and a decent variety of groceries and supplies. Prices are a little less than some competitors for regular items, and pretty good overall, though some products vary. The store allows for a quick in and out with wide aisles and accessible parking. A noted drawback is the occasional shortage of cashiers, with a suggestion for self check-out to help. It is a place where shoppers always enjoy finding new things.
First time visiting this location, and I stopped in for a quick pickup. Gary, the cashier, made the experience refreshing. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming to everyone around him. We need more employees like him.

Why do the employees who are work the registers check their phones in between customers, is it normal to have a employee who’s working the register to continuously be on their phones while making us wait even longer?

Good neighborhood food store. If you need items in bulk including paper products this is the place to go.
