“First off let me start by saying Mike was very informative and helpful in getting me setup with all of my equipment and service for my RV with a fully automatic Dish Traveler System. I was new to Dish and had to call Mike a few times from various camping locations at set up local programming and understand system and he was beyond helpful. Just this past weekend and by weekend I mean Saturday evening after work hours I called again with a technical question about adding a 1000.1 dish on a tripod to the system for when we are camped under trees and just couldn’t get the interface with the existing system wired in correctly. Instead of brushing me off or trying to explain it over the phone, Mike came to me then and there, to not only connect it, but to ensure it was working on all 5 of the RV’s TVs. It should be noted I told him not to drive all that way it could wait and he wouldn’t have it and he wouldn’t take no for an answer and wouldn’t accept money for doing it. If anyone is looking for a satellite company with amazing customer service and not just lip service at point of sale, then by all means this is your place and Mike is your guy. “This Verizon center has become my only GO TO center for any Apple phone problems,as ive been to the other 2 and the one in the Galleria itself gets maybe 2 Stars on a good day the one on Douglas i wont even give it 1/2 star...i'll never even step into that store.However approximatly the last 1 1/2 years the store at 1208 Galleria Blvd HAS been an absolute Gold mine of very knowledgeable specialist, my recent experience 3/5/24 is by far the best i've EVER encountered there.... Jules is her name she is the epitome of a perfection with her vast knowledge within the Verizon system. She helped me with ALL my needs and questions as far as im concerened Jules went out of her way helping me navigate my new reolacement I phone along with helping me set up my replacement screen protector .... Verizon would BENEFIT Exponentialy incorporating this young Woman into a management position if you ever let her go....Well i'd liken it to cutting your own corporate throat.”
“Fidium Fiber (Consolidated Communications) has been awesome for me. I have been getting 1Gbps upload and download (see pic). I uploaded 450GB to Dropbox in minutes. I left for lunch, came back, and it was done. I will explain why I think there is a difference between my service and the 1-star reviews. First, proper installation is key, and my installer did a 10/10 job. I did my homework beforehand and discovered exactly what needed to be installed and where. I guided the installer on exactly where the Ethernet cable needed to be, where to make wholes in the walls, etc. The tech appreciated the simplicity. If somebody else had been here and given lame advice to the installer, the installation would not have come out as good. Second, the 1Gbps is via the raw Ethernet cable from the Fidium modem straight to my computer. That is the extent of Fidium's duty. Any slow down that occurs at the wifi router is NOT Fidium's fault. There are many factors, beyond Fidium's control, that can cause a slowdown at the wifi router. Third, I use my own wifi router. I have been using my own wifi router forever. So, I don't even know what it is like to use a provider's router. The installer told me my router is better than Fidium's wifi router. Any wifi router does chop down that 1Gbps, but that is universal for any provider and unrelated to the raw service provided to the home. Fidium could explain how their customers can buy a better router, but such an explanation is too much information for some customers. So, I understand why Fidium does not explain. I am a former Xfinity/Comcast customer of 15+ years. Xfinity's download speed was fine, but Xfinity could not provide faster than 9Mbps upload speed to my home. My plan was the second fastest they offered but was taking several days to upload 450GB to Dropbox. That was the last straw for me.”
“Service was fine. People who came out and installed it were helpful. They make you drop off the wifi box at their office when you're done which is kind of inconvenient. the 1800 number is horrible. Try their text line it's much better.”
