“I love Autovantage! They do excellent work, give excellent customer service, and have very reasonable pricing. My car is vacuumed before I pick it up and I even get a thank-you snack for the ride home. My sunroof was broken and they went above and beyond to keep repair costs down while doing a proper repair. My son’s Element at over 300K miles needed more repairs than the car was worth and Autovantage again went above and beyond to help them in the decision process of whether to repair or sell the car. It’s a family owned business who have built a great team I trust to keep me safe on the road.”

Some time ago, I brought my 2016 Lexus RX in after a dealership quoted me $4,300 to fix a broken timing belt cover seal. I was skeptical and needed a second opinion. Originally, I had an 11 a.m. appointment, but a last-minute Zoom meeting forced me to arrive right at opening. Despite a busy schedule, Hop and Phong welcomed me immediately and diagnosed the issue in just 20 minutes!
Not only are Hop and Phong super knowledgeable, honest, and professional, but they also quoted me half the dealership’s price and provided expert advice that saved me from any repair costs—yes, I paid $0! I’m beyond grateful for their integrity and expertise. This shop has earned my trust, and I’ll never go back to paying $200 for an oil change at the dealership. From now on, all my RX maintenance needs will be handled here.

“Absolutely fantastic Mechanics, have trusted them with my Families multiple cars, they are very quick & efficient and don’t overcharge or try to upsell you on unnecessary repairs. If you are looking for a trustworthy auto shop for any work foreign & domestic cars don’t hesitate, wish I known about them years ago but with complete confidence I highly recommend, just in the last year they have done work on my Nissan Altima, my daughters Chevy Sonic and Hyundai Accent that had to get a Catalytic Converter replaced (wasn’t stolen just bad) they were $400 less then the closest repair shop. If you need any work done just call they will get you right in.. this review is specifically for Orangevale location as I know there are a few Danny’s Automotive around the Area

I also felt as though I could really trust them. I overheard another conversation about someone who brought in their car after going somewhere else. This could have been an opportunity to take advantage of him, but instead, they carefully documented everything, took pictures, explained everything, fixed they issues, and did not push for other services. “I went here to get an alignment on my truck after new control arms were put on by someone else. An alignment was done but my truck still had problems so I took it back a second time and Mike worked on my truck it turned out that the bolts on the control arms weren't tightened up so they shifted so Mike fixed that issue and aligned it again I drove it and it seemed to be fine but the next day it was pulling again so I took it back and Mike took it right in realigned it and rotated the front tires now no problems. Thank you Mike for having great work ethics and customer service I will refer everyone I know to you.”

“This shop is my shop forever! Chris, Ross and Alex are super professional and truly go the extra mile to service my auto needs. From oil changes to some more serious repairs, they always come through and stand by their work. I had a blinking check engine light and they discovered the problem and took care of the repairs under warranty and stood firm with the quality work that needed to be addressed. I have never felt taken advantage of and they make me really feel my loyalty to their shop is appreciated. I can see why they have soo many great rating from Carfox to Yelp...these folks are SUPERB ?”
“This place is fantastic. I called Mercedes because I was worried my car was overheating, it’s my first time owning a Mercedes. They wanted $300 dollars just to look at the car. I called A&B and the gentleman I spoke to was amazing. He wasn’t worried about charging me money, he was just worried about helping me. I wish I had taken his name down cause he deserves the credit, but he let me send him a picture of the temp gauge and told me it’s normal for Mercedes to run where I see the temp this time of year. He could have told me he needed to see the car first just to get that money for the diagnostic but instead he took time out of his day to sit with me on the phone, receive a picture from me, and put my mind at ease. Trust me when I say if the car stays this hot during the winter I’ll be taking my car here cause I know I can trust the service to be honest and fair. If you need your car worked on, hit these guys up they’re the real deal.”

“Had an issue with a fuel pump installed at another auto center. That place thought it was a fuel gage issue which they were not able to do.
Brought it to Five Star and found that the fuel pump was not in correctly so the gage could work.
Also the running light on the passenger side was not working. The other auto center thought it was an electrical issue. It wasn't the bulb the other place installed was not working.
Ethan took good care of me from start to finish. He kept me updated throughout the process during the car repair.
The team is awesome at Five Star. That is why I have been going there since 2003!!”

“My car battery was so heavily corroded that the positive terminal had to be replaced. The people at Sierra Auto Care were so helpful and caring! I was exhausted after getting off work at 4:30 AM and from waiting for a tow company to come (I didn't arrive at the auto shop until 10 AM or so) and they really took care of me and even allowed me to nap in the reception area while my car was getting fixed. I am so grateful for all their help and their ability to fix my car at such a last minute notice! Thank you!!!”
