I chose amber sky and believe me it was such a wonderful experience of height motion distance actual but virtual reality and the happiness of fighting the aliens ..yess you can use a super special gun too. For a fun family experience or cool times with your friends, go for it..thank you to the wonderful friendly staff for being helpful. “Top Floor Event Space at The Carvery is a hidden gem. After 31 years of producing an event for our nonprofit organization, we needed to change things up largely due to the limited space opportunities in Downtown Long Beach. We worked with their superb staff and secured the space along with buying out the restaurant for the evening. After the event, nearly every guest comment was about how special the space was and how delicious the food was as well. There are so many options for using the space and the restaurant - staff there considered every option to make our event the best for us and our dear guests. The day after the event, we actually booked the space again for 2027 - it was THAT good. If you asked me what went wrong, I would honestly tell you NOTHING. If you're looking for an event space - don't sleep on seeing if this is the right space for you!”

“THESE CLUB OWNERS ARE NOT RACIST!! I have had my show here for the last 4 years. John and Scarlett have never ever displayed any type of racism towards me as a black man. In fact, it's been completely opposite. They have embraced me as family. So I read a review of someone saying they were racist and honestly it affected me personally. It bothers me when someone gives a label on racism when it does not apply here. I've seen racism, I know what racist people do and How they Act And John and Scarlett The owners of the The StandUp Comedy Club DO NOT fit that description. Again, I have been here four years And I haven't seen nothing close to racism.. I've seen ignorant people trying to get free stuff and run out on their bill without paying, And when it doesn't go their way People are quick to pull The Race card. So Again, I am a black man who has been working at the stand-up comedy club for the past 4 years and John and Scarlett The owners has shown me nothing but love. Let's be careful how we Put False Accusations on People. I considered that I'm not only friends but family and I hate to see them get railroaded that's why I wrote this”

“I took two rounds of improv classes that were a lot of fun and rewarding that sharpened my acting skills and I rented the theater out for a comedy show which was super fun and easy to do if you’re an indie artist wanting to perform! So glad I found this treasure of a theater!”
“We were visiting this Elks Lodge and stayed in their RV area for 3 nights.
Everyone was warm, welcoming and helpful. We hung out at their Tiki Bar and so many members came over the introduced themselves to us. We spent hours talking with everyone.
We really enjoyed our stay and are very thankful they offer the RV parking and dump station.
Unfortunately we missed Mexican Monday but heard it was amazing.

“Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden is a peaceful hidden gem tucked inside California State University, Long Beach. The garden is smaller than some larger Japanese gardens, but the layout feels carefully planned with winding paths, traditional landscaping, a koi pond, waterfalls, bridges, and quiet corners throughout. It is the type of place where taking your time matters more than trying to see everything quickly, and the smaller size actually makes the experience feel more intimate.
The koi pond is easily the centerpiece of the garden and one of the most enjoyable parts to spend time around. The fish are large and active, and the surrounding greenery, stone features, and water elements create a very relaxing atmosphere. The garden does a good job balancing natural scenery with traditional Japanese design, with each section offering a slightly different view and feeling as you walk through.
What I liked most about this garden is how calm it feels despite being located on a college campus. It feels separated from the surrounding area once you enter, making it a nice place for a quiet walk, photography, or just taking a break. The landscaping is well maintained, and the entire space has a slower pace that encourages you to actually stop and appreciate the details.
The visit is fairly quick since the garden is compact, but it works well as a relaxing stop rather than a destination that takes up an entire afternoon. Reservations are required, so it is worth checking availability before going. Admission is free, although parking is an extra cost and can be the main inconvenience.
Overall, Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden is a beautiful spot if you are looking for a peaceful escape rather than a large attraction. The koi pond, thoughtful design, and quiet atmosphere make it a place worth visiting, especially on a nice day when you can take your time walking through the garden.”

“We toured The Mayne Events Center in June 2024 and were immediately sold. My daughter had her 1st birthday at The Centre in Lakewood, so we already knew that the food by TGIS Catering was top-tier. While we were close to booking at The Centre again, once my daughter saw The Mayne, it was a done deal!
Working with Monica was such a breeze, she was kind, patient, super knowledgeable, and shared so many great ideas. She even provided a vendor contact list that helped us find some of the amazing people we ended up using. The food was outstanding; we served the plated duet steak and chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies. They also handled Gluten-Free, Vegetarian, and Kosher meals perfectly. Every single person felt like a guest and was well taken care of.
The bartending was great, the service was top-notch, the bathrooms were clean, and the AC was perfect. The space accommodated all our extras perfectly including a candy cart, mini pancakes, a Maruchan station, a magazine photo booth, a cartoonist, a DJ, and a band. Our guests haven't stopped raving about how beautiful the event was. Thank you, Monica, and the entire TGIS staff for making this amazing!”
“We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue than The Red Horse Barn! From our very first tour all the way through our wedding day, Michael was incredibly helpful and made us feel confident that we would be well taken care of every step of the way. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made the entire planning process so much less stressful.
Our wedding coordinator, Robyn, was absolutely amazing. She was instrumental in helping us get organized, providing timelines for the day, coordinating with photography, and making sure every detail was accounted for. On the wedding day, everything ran so smoothly because of her. She kept us on schedule without ever making us feel rushed, which allowed us to truly enjoy every moment of our wedding. The entire day turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined, and so much of that is thanks to her hard work and organization.
The cleanup afterward was swift and completely seamless, allowing us to simply enjoy the end of our night without worrying about a thing.
We received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful and fun the wedding was, but one of the things they mentioned most was how incredible the staff was. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day special.
We cannot recommend The Red Horse Barn enough. If you're looking for a venue with a beautiful setting and an exceptional team that truly cares about making your wedding unforgettable, this is the place!”

The hall was well maintained and Grant was great to work with. He was 15 minutes early to open the doors too! The sound system was top notch and A/C kept the space cool. I would definitely recommend Luna Creative Space for your special event.”
