“This place is an awesome little find. Good place to have a quiet drink and the food is amazing. I didn't know you could come here since it's located on the base - but anyone can come in and go to the pub. I love this place.”

“Newer Fairfield Inn with great staff. The rooms are still showing the "newness" as are the amenities. The suite room is on the larger side with a living area that in ludes a sofa bed, two TVs, a desk space, coffee table, and the bedroom area w/ king bed and it's own TV. The two TVs was kind of excessive considering the close proximity of the sleeping area and adjacent living area. However, I appreciate the placement of the two TVs. The mattress was comfortable but the pillows are quite flat and offer little support. There was also a mini fridge, microwave, and small closet with iron+ironing board. As for the bathroom, the water pressure is excellent and one of the best I've experienced in Southern California. The one drawback is the shower stall leaking water onto the floor outside of the stall, at least in the room I was assigned to. The bathroom fan is also on a timer and shuts off fairly quickly which keeps the bathroom and entire suite quite humid.Sound insulation was great and rarely heard neighboring rooms. I was assigned to the top floor, end room though. The room does require a keycard inserted into a slot to activate the electricity in the room, a technique used in many European and Asian hotel rooms. Parking is complementary which is appreciated and rare in California; we had no problems finding a parking spot in the lot. The hotel is walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops as well. They offer complementary breakfast but I wasn't able to try it during my stay. The fitness center has treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, mats, and medicine balls. There is also a very small soaking pool in the back of the property but didn't use it so not sure if it is heated.”

“I had a blast at the comedy club a few weeks ago! My server was Priscilla and she did amazing. Very cool lady with awesome vibes. My drink was tasty (Red Queen) too.I was there right when doors opened so I was seated in the front of the stage. The place is a nice size but they pack everyone in pretty good. I was in the first seat of the row so I had leg room thank God.The main reason I went was for Chaunte Wayans and she did not disappoint! I really enjoyed her style of comedy.”

“I am a lover of Italian food! Overall the place was good. Everything seemed fresh and had good flavor. We ordered the burrata appetizer, which was decent. I appreciated that they had 2 types of gluten free pasta. They made the other pastas in house. Worth a try if you are craving Italian food and are in the area.”

“My husband took me here to celebrate my birthday and he chose it because we were going to the Opera after to see La Traviata, so he wanted to make a theme night. The restaurant is small and quaint. They had live music. The decor is very simple, a bit rustic? But had some very pretty chandeliers. You must have reservations and must arrive on time. Our server was very polite and was quick at answering questions and making suggestions. I ordered the Chicken Milanese, and my husband had the Lasagna. Both were very delicious. We did not have any wine although it looked like they had a good selection and we opted for no dessert (good selection as well), as our meals were pretty good size. We both liked it and would go back. This restaurant has been open for 25 yrs.Parking: There is a public parking structure but it was a block away. Street parking is metered”

“Stacy (sp?) and her team continuously go above and beyond with the level of customer service on every visit. I've even called to inquire about items and paid online to ensure they were available - when my honey went to pick the item up, they had wrapped it neatly for her as though it was a gift. The small touches like that go a long way with this consumer. Support this merchant, please - you won't be disappointed, I assure you. #Supportsmallbusiness”

“If you're looking for a Spanish/ Boho/ Vintage vibe. This is the spot. The texture of this place is really exciting to shoot against. Bold exposed beams, dark stained wood frames...its history oozes through the photos. The place feels very grown up. Very mature. Thinking back on it reminds me of cigar lounges and red lipstick.Photos by KLV Photography”

“Once again we had another amazing family event at Mayu Silk Art! Star is such an incredibly talented teacher; I love how she described the silk painting process to the kids, comparing the painting process with the way that water moves, swirling and curling. Thank you so very much!!!”

“Joining The Garden Grove Elks was just a great idea. We've met a lot of nice people to enjoy company with & volunteer for different events. We do a lot for Veterans & childhood illnesses, among other charities for around the city. The food is very good & we have a lot of dinner & dancing events. There are also many areas inside as well as the outside park, that are rented out for private parties, wedding receptions, social events, as well as funerals & celebrations of life. Everything you need is right here. Just come in & ask for a tour.”

“Trademark Brewery earns a solid 4 out of 5 stars in my book. What sets this place apart is its strong community focus and the plethora of themed events they host, including watch parties, paint nights, and more. It's evident that they're deeply rooted in their local community, which adds to the charm of the brewery. One thing to note is that while they don't have a food menu, they make up for it by inviting guest food vendors to set up in their parking lot. It's a great concept, but be prepared for potential wait times as most vendors take a while to prepare your food. My advice? Order as soon as you arrive or consider bringing your own snacks to tide you over.Speaking of amenities, the brewery allows outside food, making it convenient for patrons. However, outside drinks are a no-go, so keep that in mind. Additionally, parking is relatively hassle-free, with both street parking and a dedicated parking lot just a block away.Inside, the brewery is spacious and dog-friendly, making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends, including the furry ones. The clean restrooms and ample TVs add to the overall comfort and convenience of the space.Overall, Trademark Brewery offers a fantastic community-driven experience with a variety of themed events, ample space, and inviting ambiance. While the lack of a food menu may be a minor inconvenience, the brewery more than makes up for it with its vibrant atmosphere and welcoming vibe. It's definitely worth checking out for a laid-back evening with friends and good drinks.”

“This is an absolute iconic part of Long Beach. Most beautiful theaters like this in Southern California have been converted to churches or medical offices (noooooo!!!) but here is a gem of a bygone era of movie magic. At the art theater you will instantly remember how magical a few hours can be in the right theater. From an afternoon matinee to a midnight romp with the rocky horror picture show this place has it all! Please spend some of your hard earn bucks here for an unforgettable few hours of big screen magic. I hope the art theater is around for another 100 years!”

“My wife recommened this place after she had birthday lunch w her class members yesterday. I was curious about this restaurant so we decided to celebrate for lunch on Valentine's day. We got there around 12. All tables were filled except some patio tables. Thank God!! We sat at the round table in the middle of dining area. Haha...great spot and we had the golf course view. I love golf course view and makes me relaxed, comfy. As lunch menus, they are more burger and sandwich specialty restaurant w affordable prices, great quality, and good ambiance as a bonus. I am almost shocked about such low prices of wine, margarita, and foods. Most of restaurants have double prices for the wine and food. I got bacon bluecheese burger w half fries half onion rings, magarita, a glass of Merlot for the drink, my wife got tender chicken w fries, same Merlot. My 1st taste for margarita was not strong, very mild, wishing they put more tequila and give more flavors. It took lots of time until we got the foods. But we were o.k. talking and looking at the Green thru the window. For my burger, loved the brioche bun w chargrilled patty w lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, grilled onions, and blue cheese crumble. Wow!!! Tasty like real fancy burger. Fries and onion rings both were so good. For my wife's tender chicken, first huge portion of 4 tender chicken strip. Super crunchy!!! She loved the tender white chicken meats. Overall, the lunch service is little slow due to the many customers but the price, portion, ambiance are great. I want to come again for the weekend brunch. They open at 7 in the morning. Pros Parking: 4 stars, enough Ambiance: 5 stars, so comfy, great view Price: so Cheap for the wine, even foods $13 Quality: 5 stars Service: 4 stars, slow during lunch time You need some patience.... Cons No Tacos....they have nacho, quesadilla, and tostada. I wish they have street tacos on the menu. Great place for the elders, birthday, some events.”

“This year has been spent at numerous convention centers across California. I'd say the Long Beach Convention Center is a solid 4 star. Definitely not my favorite, but a solid spot. The orientation and shape of the convention center doesn't feel the most spacious or comfortable and noise from breakout rooms carries into other spaces. But the pros are that the location is convenient with lots of restaurants close by. Post-conference happy hours can easily be housed at the nearby hotels making it a short walk to the fun!”

“I cannot say enough good things about this venue! From communicating to see the venue, to booking, to our event day...everything was so seamless and easy! The owners are so kind and communication is excellent. We used the venue for my baby shower and I am so glad we found it! We will be back and we will be sure to tell all of our family friends about your adorable venue! Thank you ladies for making my day so special!”
