Bunkado is a fantastic and very nice third generation family-owned gift shop in the heart of Little Tokyo LA. It is a popular destination and a must visit, full of beautiful Japanese and Asian table and kitchen ware, décor, lanterns, art supplies, stationery, apparel, and imported artisan goods from Japan. The shop carries gorgeous clay cooking pots, ceramics, kettles, incense, fun retro toys, old records, and old music cassette collections. It feels really Japanese, like the mom and pop shops of the past, with a lovely selection of items both big and small. Visitors should definitely check out the second floor.
Always find some smalls to buy. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cute Japanese store, adorable teacups. First time visiting this store, definitely coming back. If you’re in the area I recommend going to the store and checking out.
