“Such a little gem in the neighborhood. Great gift shop with cards, tchotchkes, and a bunch of other cute stuff. I had a pleasure talking to the owner the other day and highly recommend this store if you're in the area!”
“I had such a great experience here. It’s honestly rare to find a place that still repairs lamps, and they did an amazing job. They fixed my lamp quickly and it works perfectly now. The staff is knowledgeable, honest, and really takes the time to explain things. Prices were fair too. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending them to friends.”

“Carlos and his team have been my go to art installers for years now. Not only are they Covid safe, but if you want a piece of art (or many pieces of art) hung the right way, please contact him. He has such a keen eye for where the piece works best on the wall, you don't have to do your own measuring. He and his assistant (usually his son or daughter) have all the equipment they need to hang your art. This is a family run business (who doesn't want to support that). I cannot say enough about Preferred Picture Framing and Carlos and his team! He was actually referred to me by one of the most prominent art framers in all of Los Angeles. He is the absolute best in the business.”
“This place is amazing. Mike and Miguel are amazing family run business! very helpful and great customer service. I use to go to this other place before I fount Colores De Mexico, never went back! this is my 3 project with them. They always have what I need. I have never experienced a back order with them. Amazing prices!!
Thank you to Colores De Mexico!!!
Jerry and Alicia”
“A lovely and historically significant shop in downtown Little Tokyo, that despite our short time there was one of the highlights of our trip! Their cassette selection is massive (and very affordable too, all cassettes are $2, CDs are $3), and the staff helped me track down some Enka I was looking for!”
“They have all kinds of cozy stuff and I get zen feeling here too. Online shopping experience with them is great too but I'd always prefer to visit the store physically every few months to keep me updated.🥰❤”
“Stopped in today on the hunt for a gift for a friend’s housewarming. Was immediately greeted by Amanda. I shared I needed help/recommendations. She was quick, attentive and radiated a positive energy! Amanda made the whole experience incredible. Will definitely be back in the future and recommend Amanda to anyone who needs help finding a special and unique gift.”
“We absolutely love working with Ana and Ben at Wild Stems! Their floral creations are stunning and so unique. We've worked with them for many years now on high-profile client events and are always so happy with the outcome. They are my go-to for any floral arrangements/gifting for clients, family and friends. Ana and Ben are a joy to work with!”
“Furthur is an absolute gem. I ordered a custom table made of hand made tiles and it might be the most spectacular thing I’ve ever purchased. Michelle is a wonderful human being and has been a staple in the Silverlake community for years. I can’t recommend this shop enough for gifts, tables and tablewares.”
“I'm not the gardener in the family - but my partner, who is, absolutely loved this place.
It's very aesthetically pleasing. Everything is arranged just so, with pink and green paint on the walls, and little displayed tucked away here and there.
You'd never know from the front door, but this place is deep, too. Many, many rooms, plus an outdoor area with bigger plants!
They also have some little non-plant Easter eggs, like a jukebox and pinball machine. It's just very cozy, very friendly, and a nice place to chill and get a couple houseplants!”
“Lovely store with a really cool and unique collection of oddities ranging from homeware to jewellery. There were some really unique pieces that i regret not picking up, and would definitely visit again in the future! The shopkeeper that assisted us was also very polite and was happy to answer any questions we had.”
“For years this shop was originally on second street. It was fully supplied with items for the kitchen, dining, and other Japanese items. This shop is much smaller, no room to roam around like the other shop, where you could ogle and awe at wares. The owner of this shop is helpful. They have an adequate selection of ikebana vessels from Japan unlike anywhere else in LA. The prices are average considering import costs. Overall this shop is an important mainstay in the Japanese community.”
“Wanted a special light fixture for the hallway of our new house and after looking online to no avail, I was so delighted to find this local spot with so many treasures. Lilia patiently helped me to pick the perfect light and Youssouf helped to add a light kit so I can hang it instantly. All reasonably priced!”
“We just furnished most of our new home from here. The store has two sections, a Modern and Mid-Century Modern section. Quality ranges from very good to outstanding. It can get expensive but much cheaper than many other stores that have these styles of furniture. We purchased our furniture over the course of several purchases and every time we went in the store, there was a sale rotating amongst different pieces, so it may be worth waiting for something you like to go on sale. They also offer 0% financing. We got a promo for 24 months, so they make it easy to afford whatever like.”
“Amazing showroom from B. David Levine. He's a multi-talented designer with furniture and accessories that I haven't see anywhere else. It's worth a visit to meet him: he's an extremely warm and knowledgeable person”
“Love this store!! I have been shopping at their location in Beverly Hills, I am so excited to see that they have open a location in Newport Beach. This is one of my favorite stores. The owners and staff are very nice and extremely helpful. They have beautiful rugs, pillows, towels, unique gifts and one of kind items that you will not anywhere else. Most of their products are curated by the owners and they have exceptional taste in quality and rare unique pieces. Whether you are looking for an accent piece or are redecorating a room or your home, this is the store that you want to visit. Most of their stock is from Turkey, Morocco and Europe. I have shopped here many times for myself and I always go here for gifts. You will love the value and quality of your purchases. This store will wow you!”
“This is a lovely shop with beautiful house plants, artistic & stylish gifts & a warm welcoming vibe. I love to see sweet Chester, the shop dog when I visit. Visiting this creative space is worth a trip to this unique Hollywood {near West Hollywood} neighborhood.
All the flowers, All the Stars.”
“I had such a great experience at this mezuzah
store The manager, Yisrael, is genuinely one of the kindest and most helpful people I’ve met
He took his time explained everything with patience and made the whole process easy and pleasant
The prices were surprisingly good and the service was even better If you’re looking for mezuzot and want to deal with someone honest and caring this is definitely the place to go”
“Jose Manzano is a very informative salesman! He gave us a wonderful price and explained many options . His charisma and professionalism was very appreciated . I will return here to buy any furniture in the future .
The store was very clean and organized and the customer service from all the workers feels very welcoming.”
“Love this store and the owner! My friend and I happened to walk in this morning, and I unexpectedly bought my first real piece of jewelry here that I’ll wear for the rest of my life. I was nervous to invest in a piece, but my friend and I really loved Michelle’s personality and I’m so glad I bought a necklace from her :)”
“This store has such a good vibe! I felt very good just by walking into it. It’s so well organized and well thought off. The staff was very sweet and knowledgeable! I had one of the best shopping experiences since moving to LA. Got myself 6 ceramicwares that are microwaveable and dishwasher safe. Everything under $25! Such a lovely place to get anything for your home.”
“This company was terrific to work with. We bought a large furniture item online, and they offered a very fair price. We couldn't take delivery for some time, and they were kind enough to hold it for us and schedule the delivery for later, which also went very well. Great communication also, and quite friendly and professional! Highly recommend.”
“What a gem of a shop! You’d be remiss if you don’t stop in. Beautifully curated items that are obviously chosen with intention. They have Le Bon Shoppe socks that I love! And a great selection of greeting cards. This is my go-to store for matcha whisks that are high quality and don’t break the bank. They have lovely natural fragrances and tons of kitchenware, such as plates and utensils. Gorgeous shop. Definitely check it out. Sweet owner too! She so kindly wrapped my gift without me even having to ask! I’m always delighted at what I see when I walk in. It also smells really good in there!!”
“This review is long overdue, but I truly cannot rave enough about Michael. Not only does he have a fantastic eye for curation, but his customer service is also exceptional. He was incredibly responsive to all my messages and even went above and beyond by sending videos of the pieces so I could see exactly how they sit. When my two vintage chairs and stool arrived, they were beautifully packaged and in impeccable condition. It’s been about seven months now, and they are still my favorite pieces in my house. Michael is an absolute gem, and we are lucky to have professionals like him in the business!”
“Great place to buy rugs, they carry a wide variety of sizes, colors and designs. They have a huge warehouse full of rugs and their prices are unbeatable definitely worth the drive, you will be amazed.”
“Earlier this year, I bought a canopy bed and 2 side tables from Tara Design. Larissa was so caring, friendly and honest. Another vendor I found online referred me to Larissa. I visited Tara Design and was impressed with the amount of inventory. I bought a gorgeous solid dark-wood canopy bed and Larissa had one of her delivery contacts bring the bed to my then-condo and assemble it. After that amazing experience, I decided to buy 2 bed tables and that purchase experience was also stellar. I will definitely return to Larissa and Tara Design when I am ready to furnish my new home. A+ experience/cost/customer service/inventory.”
“I was always intimidated by Diptyque, the aesthetics and scents seemed too rich for my blood but Mindy took me under her arm and didn’t just sell me a scent but told me the story of the company and her story as well. That’s irreplaceable and I’m now a permanent fan.”

“Really cute store! Got a very cute summer dress for my friend’s 7 month old. They also some great wood toys and unique kids books. My daughter loves books before bed and we get tired of reading the same ones. They had some fun options to add to our collection.”
“We had an amazing experience with Phil Chiem at the LA Furniture Outlet store. I visited on more than one occasion and he went out of his way to make suggestions on certain sofas we might like. He knew everything about them including the various sizes and colors available. He also helped direct us to different parts of the store where we might find what we were looking for. He was so friendly and pleasant and worked with us on pricing too. We will definitely come back for other pieces. We highly recommend coming to work with Phil at LA Furniture Outlet store!”

“My daughters and I adore Leanna Lin’s Wonderland! It is truly a wonderland of a shop. Anytime we have a special moment to celebrate (birthdays, the end of the school year, etc) we always hit Leanna Lin’s. It’s also where we go to buy all the birthday gifts for anyone. It’s so easy to find things to love there! And they showcase local artists with art shows! We just love this place. Highly recommend making a visit. You will always be happy after visiting this wonderful store!”
