The space itself is clean, welcoming, and never overcrowded, which makes every session feel focused and intentional. Between the personalized training, the recovery tools, the nutrition guidance, and the overall positive energy, it’s such a refreshing change from the typical busy LA gym scene.

What I appreciate most is how empowering the process has been. I’ve learned how to lift with proper form, build strength without aggravating old injuries, and stay consistent with nutrition in a way that still allows balance (yes, I still enjoy my wine and weekend meals!). “I was never a “gym person” and joined CrossFit Hollywood a bit skeptically, mainly because it was close to home and I wanted to complement my running training with some cross-training. From day one, I felt genuinely welcomed—not just by the exceptional coaches, but by the community of members who make this place so special.

Nearly 8 months in, I can honestly say it’s been a fantastic experience. I’m seeing real results and, more importantly, I’ve found a small, supportive community that makes showing up something I look forward to. Every coach here is top class—knowledgeable, motivating, and always attentive.

“Sooooo... I drank the Crossfit Kool-aid. After years of watching my husband practice this crazy sport, I finally gave in.

I am not now, nor have I ever been a sporty person. I started coming to Mixtape for their yoga classes. Loved it. I then moved on to spin classes. Yes! I can do this. Now I'm doing the crazy WOD (Workout of the Day). I'm actually doing things in the gym I would have never thought I could do.

The coaches are without exception knowledgeable,
approachable, and encouraging. They modify and accomodate the workouts to your level of fitness. The facility is not like a typical chain gym, but it is clean and welcoming. But the NUMBER ONE REASON why I keep coming back is the sense of community that Coaches Sadie and Jason have fostered in their business. The inclusivity and comaraderie and overall lovefest I feel here are everything. Having a cruddy day at work? Come to the box. Relationship woes? Come to the box. Too many tamales? Come to the box. You'll sweat. You'll laugh. You'll feel better. Did I mention this is a dog-friendly spot? Seriosuly... come this box!!!”

“Loved this class. I would highly recommend anyone to give it a try if I could get through it anyone can. If you can buy your own gloves from them I’d do that. They let you use theirs for your first class but warning the gloves stink real bad.”

“Joining Movement Society was probably one of the decisions I made. I started with the 6-week transformation program and upon completion joined the monthly membership. All trainers (Toddy is awesome) are fantastic, but I would love to give a shout out to Germaine. He is absolutely awesome. He is patient. Focuses on the form, pace, and weight. He pushes and encourages you to push yourself without being pushy. His stability classes are amazing too. Highly recommend joining this gym (Steven is a good dude and super helpful). Best workout experience.”

If you are looking for support and consistency, you are more than welcome to join zero givens also has good programs that can achieve to lose some weight, gain muscles, improve your stamina. If you are considering one of those as your ultimate goal, start with 504 3 week program. You will gain results and confidence!”

“I have been a longtime member of Fitness 19 Gym located at the Eagle Rock Plaza location. I also have been attending Debbie Brown’s Bodyworks classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, which helped me tremendously in losing weight and staying in shape while having fun doing it. While it seemed intimidating at first, Debbie is great with reminding her class attendees to listen to their bodies and perform her routine exercises at the levels (low or high) that worked best for them. Debbie also has given me wonderful advices in proper stretches and warmups when I’m experiencing muscle fatigue as well as correct techniques when performing some of her routine exercises in order to execute them safely and with best possible gains and results. I also enjoyed and have benefitted from her kickboxing classes mixed with boot camp, which unfortunately was discontinued mid this year. Debbie is an awesome trainer, and I hope to continue attending her classes for years to come!!! Also, I want to mention Giovanni Juarez’ Zumba classes on weekdays and Saturdays, which I also enjoyed attending and helped with my fitness goals! Gio is also a great trainer!”

“This studio is awesome. The staff is so friendly and the coaches are so encouraging. If you're not sure if you want to join, you should come to this studio to try out a free class. That's what I did about a year ago and I now go 4-5 times per week. The studio is extremely clean and they have easy parking and an excellent coffee shop (Alchemist) next door.”

“I truly enjoy rev cycle's non-cycling classes and the facilities are newer. My least favorite aspect about Rev is that the single-occupancy restroom is often understocked--no hand soap etc. Despite this, easy access to the location and parking always available in the side streets.”

“I have had a shoulder issue for about 6 years and have gone to maybe 5 PTs who did basically nothing for me. In just 2 sessions with Josh here I can already tell how much better I am going to feel soon. Josh took actual time to find out and diagnose the injuries and knows so much on how to treat it. Amazing facility and make sure to ask for Josh. He is great”

“I found the gym Venice off of class Pass and I'm so glad I did Faren Shannon and kris are so great. They offer a women's strength training class two times a week every Sunday morning at 9 AM and every Wednesday night at 8 PM Faren sure knows how to put a work out together that will kick your ass. Shannon is great at providing different accommodations based off skill level and/or injury. Kris is super motivating and is super helpful in guiding you when you're working out on the bench press. Bonus is that Sydney makes an appearance occasionally (Kris's dog) lol My schedule has stopped me from going back the last month, but the atmosphere and the regulars who show up on Sundays are calling my name. If you haven't already, you should definitely check out the gym venice”
