Hertz Car Rental at the Westin Bonaventure has a small location inside the hotel lobby, which you can only enter from the front door. The staff are described as nice, kind, punctual, extremely friendly and super helpful. Guests note a very nice man who checks them in, walks them to the lobby downstairs and meets them in the garage. The vehicle selection includes new and clean cars, luxury and sports cars, SUVs such as a Ford Escape, EVs like a Polestar, vans and trucks. Cars are reported to be in very good shape, with a quick tour of the car’s mechanics and advice on how to pay tolls for the Golden Gate Bridge. The check in and check out process is easy, with a refund of the deposit in less than 30 minutes and competitive price. Even when a car was not ready until later in the day, the team still worked and delivered the rental. Overall the experience is great, could not have gone better, and guests say they will definitely come again.

What's great: Convenient downtown location, nice friendly staff, service, speediness, and quality of vehicles was great!
What's not great: Very limited and inconvenient hours of operation, lack of vehicle drop off after hours, no one ever answered the phone.
