“I was in town for a wedding that was near by at a more expensive hotel. I booked at the Fess Parker for the weekend. Not only did I saw a few hundred dollars, but my hotel was nice than where others were staying for more money and the customer service was 5/5. I’d recommend to anyone who visits this town.”

“What a wonderful little place!!! Such beautiful rooms and hotel. Service feels like a 5 star. Gorgeous views. Comfortable beds. Kirsten at the front desk was lovely and helpful- both on the phone before we arrived and while we were there. Cleanliness is taken seriously- they washed off the pool furniture every single morning. So great with kids and brought us two pack and plays with extra mattress for comfort to the room. They bring cold water and freezies to you when you’re in the hot tub and pool. Kids had so much fun. Hold doors for you in lobby. We loved this little piece of heaven! Thank you for everything”

“I’ve stayed here several times and always find it unique and excellent. The suites are equipped with everything you need, the bedding and towels are great quality and the beds are super comfortable.
The quality, the value and the charm bring me back often. This time I only came for one night and chose an upstairs room. It was so charming and comfortable. Even the shower was great!
I look forward to bringing the family and staying n one of f the larger units with a fireplace and an outdoor fire pit. AND no worries about parking. It’s an easy walk to the main street in Solvang.”

“Great location for a weekend or week away. Beautiful hills and scenery, located right on the outskirts of Solvang Village. Easy quick walk to the shops....close to a nice walking trail....and quite surroundings.
The Worldmark is updated, with great rooms, a nice gameroom and lounge area, a pool, and a decent gym. The gym does not have free weights but a couple of treadmills, and a weight machine.”

“I was amazed at the beautiful rooms here near Solvang, CA in Buellton. The rooms were quite spacious. The only problem was the freeway constant noice and limited breakfast options. Other than that, the hotel was satisfactory for the price and I would recommend it!”

“Location very quiet and dark at night, in the middle of wine county, great if you are here for winery hopping, service was very good, breakfast was good love the yogurt and fruits option, wish they had wheat bread oatmeal.
No tv in property. Parking was easy and free. Building is very quiet and vintage deco. My room felt a bit small especially the bathroom. But I took one star off due to the curtain is not black out and the window doesn’t block sound also the door to the hallway I can hear everything. Neighbor was very quiet though. I was solo and I think this is great for couple.”

“This is a real nice place and it's a great location. The reservations was delightful and checked us in early and are rooms were ready. At that point we were off. I will stay there again because it's worth it. The only issue I have is that our check out time was 11:00 and we went out to breakfast and came back at a quarter to 11:00 and they've already cleaned our rooms.”

“Stylish European style aptly 4 star hotel amidst the busy Solvang village main road. This hotel is a much needed oasis from the high traffic and tourist density that you will encounter when you visit.
The rooms are spacious, modern and very tastefully decorated that you will definitely feel the Danish European vibe with its bright, clean, and Scandinavian style all throughout this midsized low rise hotel that feels like an upscale inn at the mountains.
Hotel facilities are consistent to the theme and are welcoming.
Service is centralized in a small counter but provides ease of access and prompt attention. Some care just needed for housekeeping to ensure that toilet drainage is always cleared and efficient.
The location is definitely well managed given that your sense of privacy and quiet is very much maintained despite the fact that the hotel is in the middle of the tourist scene.
Definitely recommended for all types of guest and for those seeking to make a side trip to Solvang during their roadtrip.
We were fortunate to have stayed here during the hot and busy month of June 2024.
Rooms: Rooms are generously spacious with complete amenities. Almost every detail is European inspired.
Nearby activities: Almost all Solvang attractions are walking distance from this hotel. Special tie up vineyard and wine tasting promotions are offered by the hotel with various establishments in the area.
Walkability: Nice to have various exit paths to some of the other side streets for ease of access and to avoid the main busy avenue
Food & drinks: In house resto with an annex bar connected by a pleasant lounge area. A semi public inner courtyard is also accessible to relax and lounge about.
Noteworthy details: Layout of rooms is expansive with ample parking lots that are both outdoors and underground with access doors.”

“We stopped here to stay the night halfway through our drive from the Bay Area to Los Angeles. After a long afternoon of driving we were greeted by Sabrina at the front desk who was great! She answered all my questions and really took the time to welcome me to Solvang. Love the location and the rooms were comfortable and clean.”
“Friendly, helpful staff, very clean, did i say very clean rooms. Older, simple, but still functional. Price was right for us. Close to hwy 101, but no highway noise. no cigarette smoke odor in room. less than 5 minutes to Solvang. We plan on staying again.”

“My daughter booked this hotel and I was skeptical because the rates were much more reasonable than other hotels. I was so pleasantly surprised! I loved it! The roons were a great size and very very clean! The atmosphere was adorable! We loved the windmill! We enjoyed sitting at the fire pits at night and breakfast on our door in the morning! I would totally go back!”

“This place is literally an oasis in the middle of nowhere. Coming up to the resort was a surreal experience that can't be described. The rooms were clean and quite spacious and the bathroom was beautiful ( fyi no locks on the door).
The casino experience was a mixed bag. This place has an amazing assortment of Vegas style slots on a massive floor, the area is clean and spacious and even during peak times it's easy to find an open machine. this place is a staple for all of my trips to California”

“This is a very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. The beds and bedding were comfortable. We had a room with 2 queen size beds and the room and bathroom was spacious. There is a nice size desk. It has 2 USB ports and 2 outlets on either side of the desk. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices. The buffet was kept stocked with fresh hot food and was kept clean. The lobby has plenty of comfortable seating areas and even a beautiful fireplace. We would definitely stay here again ? I highly recommend this hotel!”

“We stayed at The Inn at Mattie’s Tavern for a two-night girls’ weekend and had a great experience overall. The rooms are spacious with incredibly comfortable beds, and the outdoor area is a highlight—the fire pit is perfect for making s’mores. The location is also ideal, with easy access to Los Olivos and its wineries.
The manager’s warm welcome, complete with a hot toddy and property tour, added a special touch. The property also has a fun selection of courtesy vehicles for use. The only downsides were the spa being fully booked and unable to accommodate us, and the coffee shop and restaurant do not open for breakfast until 7am (6/6:30 would be preferred!).
Overall, it’s a beautiful property with thoughtful details, and we’d happily stay again—just booking the spa in advance next time!
