“Breakfast didn't meet my expectations at this room rate. Waitress was efficient and sweet. Public rooms are nice. Small yard is nice for kids to run around. Parking is good. Hotel has a fine restaurant on the neighboring lot and is a block away from another lovely restaurant, coffee shops and bakery. Streets are very quiet and calm. Los Olivos and Solvang are a few minutes drive away.Rooms: Spacious. Nice bed. Gas fireplace. Quiet. Elevator access. Walk in shower.Safety: Very quiet here. Seems safe to walk in the small town at night.”

“Their hotel rate is cheap for the amenities it has .. the 5th top floor pool is amazing in its own.. I feel the willows is a great restaurant to take your wife too. I just hope this review shows my loyalty to the Chumash and helps them and their establishment.. and the pictures I took where mine just want to win that free play hot seat Wednesdays and wheel of winners on Thursdays”

“Excellent food. We selected the 5-course menu and wine pairings. Because we both picked the alternative selections for each course, we ended up sharing and thus experienced the ENTIRE menu and all the curated wines. Beautiful and intimate interior. Service started off well and then it felt like they directed their attention elsewhere as the night wore on which was disappointing. Overall, would still highly recommend.”

“We enjoyed our stay at hotel Corque in Solvang during holiday season. They have beautiful decorations in the lobby. Check in service is quick and friendly. “The Ballard Inn is located in a peaceful semi-rural neighborhood about 2 miles south of Los Olivos. Both rooms and common areas are beautifully appointed. Stay includes a gourmet breakfast and Happy Hour. It’s a very pleasant place.”

“The first thing that stands out is the location. It is right there on the main drive toward the western end of the touristy area. The room was nice with a small refrigerator and a coffee maker. I really like the wooden floors and the shower which seem to have a good size to it. The few times we interacted with the staff they did seem friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here.”

“Stayed one night there for Christmas weekend. We booked king room with disability assistance (only one room left of last minutes booking). The room has a handy kitchen and regular size of refrigerator but no chairs. The room is cozy, clean, and modern. Bed is comfortable. AC is quiet but the noise is from refrigerator. Appreciate with the complimentary water and coffee. There is walking distance from the Copenhagen and it is quiet area when you want to get rest. Easy check-in and check-out.”

“Lovely stay, gorgeous suite (room No 6), extremely quiet (not a sound), very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast which was included in our rate was a little disappointing with some items already finished by the time with arrived in the breakfast room at 8.30 (breakfast is served until 10.30). The lady overseeing the breakfast was lovely and very apologetic, however the hotel should know how many guests to expect for breakfast and cater accordingly. Great to have an EV charger to charge our car overnight; there is only one charger but we were lucky to be the only one needing a charge. Great service throughout our stay.”

“Great location and clean rooms. The pillows are extremely flat, so bring your own pillows if you like some volume. The free continental breakfast place is directly across from the hotel. However, there was a long line to get in, so my husband and I drove out of Solvang for breakfast. Expect to stand in line for a while if you plan to eat breakfast on Saturday morning. Overall, we enjoyed our stay?”

“Stood here with my boyfriend halloween of 2023! The staff were the nicest people on the planet. They were so genuine and sweet. Extremely helpful, kind, and hospitable. Planning on staying here again just for a staycation of sorts just because we know it will be a comfortable nice quality clean room with the most friendly hosts imaginable!”

“The room was okay but there were some crumbs on the floor. Also check was online and should be 24h before but it was on the same day. If you are not from the US not easy without wi fi....Walkability: A lot of restaurants nearby but most if them closed on Mondays.”

“Beautiful place and rooms are so nice. My only complaint is the teenagers in the jacuzzis so it was difficult for anyone else to get in.Rooms: Very nice rooms and I love having a kitchen and laundry both in room. Also enjoyed how much space was in the bathroom.Walkability: Very close to downtown and ensuring in walking distance. It made for nice morning and evening walks we enjoyed.”

“The hip decor isn’t worth the price. The hotel’s amenities were lacking for a holiday weekend. We booked in advance and were given no notice about the renovation. Nobody even said anything at check in. We found out when we couldn’t make breakfast reservations and ended up standing in line somewhere else. To us the nightly rate was way too high for this type of mishap. The mattress also needs help, very uncomfortable and you can hear people talking outside throughout the night at the fire pit. We didn’t get any rest here”

“Great location smacked in the middle of all shops, restaurants, and wine tasting. Loved our upstairs rooms with high ceilings, wood floors and extra large, with long table with benches in the middle. This was a "girlfriends" trip and it was perfect!”

“Thank you for having our rooms ready and clean. The service was great. I can tell these are hard- working people. Bring your own shampoo and body wash. They provide the small hand soaps and towels. We had a small fridge and microwave, and the room was cozy. Nicely upgraded, nothing fancy, but they want your stay to be as comfortable and accommodating as possible. There are great views all around, and it's a few miles from Solvang, the town we visited. So worth it!”

“Location is perfect. Walking distance to everything. My only complaint was the room getting too hot & ac not cooling down the room, it’s understandable though since the rooms are older. We had the windows open but depending on your room you might not have privacy if they’re open.”

“Basic hotel with great outdoor spaces. Breakfast was good.Rooms: Rooms were basic with not alot of places to put clothes. Bathroom was tight with a funky shower that needed maintenance”

“Stayed here for 5 nights including on New Years. The room and area was very clean and safe and the facility they had were very nice. The pool was heated so the we could swim even in the cold January months. The room was big and spacious and the bathroom was very nice. On New Years night we didn’t have a bottle opener and to my surprise the front desk was actually open and the women working was very friendly. The only thing I would say could be a downside is if your coming from solvang it’s kinda difficult to get into but it’s not really the fault of the hotel just the location. Very nice hotel and we both agreed this if we come back we are coming to this one.”

“The general hotel experience was superior in almost every way. The room, the staff were very good. HOWEVER, I was appalled that there was no free unsecured wifi, then I morning coffee, no matter how poor, was not free. Fortunately, neither of these were a problem, just a disappointment to an otherwise very good stay.”

“Splurge on the hot tub suite, really nice room, and well worth it. Locate is great right off the end of the main street in Solvang, so everything was in walking distance but removed from the foot traffic. Would definitely stay here again.”
