“We had an amazing time at the Marlo hotel! We appreciated that it was a short walk to town. The bed was comfortable and the large tv was an added bonus. The biggest win was the back door that opened to a beautiful area for the dogs. We loved letting them play and sitting by the fire.”

“My wife and I love staying at The Landsby! We’ve been coming here for years and we always look forward to it.
The staff are always super friendly/ professional, rooms are very clean and bright (the rooms all either have big windows or balconies and they’re beautifully designed/ styled!), we love the restaurant (Mad and Vin), it’s walking distance to everything you’d want to access in Solvang, parking is easy (and free!), and they are dog friendly. Oh, and the mattresses are wildly comfortable + we love sitting by the fire pits at night.
Can’t recommend this spot enough! Prices are great for the beautiful and cozy rooms.”

“We booked a two bedroom suite at this inn for one night. (Solvang was so cute, we wished it was longer!) The man at check in was very friendly and helpful. The suite was perfect. Modern bathroom, working air conditioning, clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is great, as the town is extremely walkable. Our booking came with a free pastry for each of us at the bakery across the street. I can't rate the pool because we didn't use it (or even see it), but I would 100% stay here again and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone. 10/10”

“Great location for a weekend or week away. Beautiful hills and scenery, located right on the outskirts of Solvang Village. Easy quick walk to the shops....close to a nice walking trail....and quite surroundings.
The Worldmark is updated, with great rooms, a nice gameroom and lounge area, a pool, and a decent gym. The gym does not have free weights but a couple of treadmills, and a weight machine.”

“Cute place, super convenient to everything in town. We stayed 2 nights in room 6 (king bed + twin bunks). It's at the back of the inn, so we didn't have any noise issues. The air conditioning worked well, there was a table big enough for a moderate-sized board game, and the host was very responsive. Overall, a very nice stay. 👌”

“Driving from Paso Robles to LA - Pea Soup Andersen's Inn was the perfect spot for my family! An absolute gem find! While the name is quirky, the grounds were amazing! A Bavarian feel, kids played corn hole, swam, played mini golf and other yard games while we sat in comfy chairs and enjoyed the gas fire pits in the courtyard. Our room opened right up to that area which was amazing! Lots of staff around cleaning and fixing and taking care of the property! The property was clean, organized and well kept! If we found it sooner we would have stayed longer! Rooms are slightly dated, but clean and had comfy beds and all the amentities! Close to wineries, grocery, gas. Etc! Easy 10/10! Highly recommend!”
“Generally a good experience. Staff was fine. Breakfast space limited as other reviews state. Room adequately clean but unless you are shorter than 5’1” the mirrors at the sink are useless- one of my pet peeves for places in this class of establishments. Designer must have been asleep when decorating.”

“Mr and Mrs Li are the kind understanding and thoughtful. The room have beautiful furniture and the beds are so comfortable. The showers are beautiful also. It’s very comfortable and offers tables and chairs outside to enjoy the weather. Let me have my dog in my room. Does not ask for a deposit and has great prices. Staff is also very friendly. This is the only motel I stay at because they make my stay very stress free. Wheel chair accessible free WiFi dog friendly”

“I go to the casino a couple times a year and Ive always had a good time . I like going on week nights , late in the evening , not too many people so lots of machines to pick from. I didnt want to leave the machine I was on , it was being really good to me , doubled my money and went home . “Im surprised I never left a review for this hotel. I stayed here a while back and am again in the area. For a Motel 6 this is actually a decent place to stay and affordable for this area. Nice location with a grocery store down the street and walking distance to restaurants across the street. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are what you can expect from a Motel 6 but its a good enough place to stay. The parking is easy and the area is nice aswell, without shady people or homeless around. I would stay here again.”
“We had a really pleasant stay at the inn. Everything was great overall — the location, comfortable bed, and breakfast were all excellent. It’s only about a 5-minute walk to downtown Solvang, which makes it very convenient for exploring the area without needing to drive.
The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better.
There were a few things that could be improved. There was some visible mold in the restroom, which could use some attention. Also, because the windows are quite old, we could hear a fair amount of traffic noise from the main street. The ice maker was also quite loud throughout the night, which made it a little difficult to sleep.
Overall, I would give this inn 4.5 out of 5. For an inn rather than a hotel, it was a very nice experience, and we would happily stay here again.”

Their kindness wasn’t forced or scripted; it felt authentic, and they consistently went out of their way to make us feel at home.
I’ve stayed in luxury hotels around the world, and I can honestly say the level of service here rivals any five-star property. It’s rare to find a team that cares this much about its guests, and it made all the difference in our experience.

“Beautiful location. The staff are legitimately a bunch of angels. They are SO kind, so sweet, and CHOOSE to make it THEIR GOAL to accommodate your every request.
Rooms were VERY beautiful. Loved the design and rugged, historic, home feel. The housekeeping team were also excellent!!
The only things for us during our recent stay that were drawbacks were:
1) We felt the choice of light switches in the room are not practical. I know, what a silly thing to review. But honestly, it was super frustrating not knowing what to do with the panel of switches at first. Especially when it’s night time and it’s dark (the switches are all black) and you can’t figure out which one you’re about to click 🤣 artistically cool, yes. Practical? Eh.
2) The Shower handle for where you control the Water temperature also came loose and out of the wall mid-shower! Haha. Wasn’t expecting that. It went back in easily, but it was definitely confusing putting it back in and not knowing which way it should be pointing.
Overall, it’s beautiful and awesome for weddings and big groups!!”
