“We had an exceptional time at Mattei’s. We went for our “babymoon” and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome & truly made it such a memorable experience. Upon our arrival, Dante, the front desk manager, organized two darling gifts for our twins-on-the-way, as well as a gift for our 2 yo daughter. He also had non-alcoholic champagne sent to our room with a handwritten note. It was such a thoughtful, generous, and special way to welcome us to the property. Joe and Chris at the front desk were also very accommodating, as was Elizabeth, who gave us a generous late check out. Maya at the Tavern was very personable and generous with her time. Everyone we interacted with was kind, welcoming, unassuming, and very helpful. The grounds are meticulously maintained and just simply beautiful, food was delicious, rooms were spacious and decorations were thoughtfully curated, service from all staff members was spectacular, location was super convenient, and overall it was an incredible stay. We will *absolutely* be back, and we hope this review finds its way to management so they can recognize and reward their staff members across the board for creating an exceptional guest experience.”

“This is one of the very cleanest, most welcoming with the best staff ever!! They have someone to help right at the door most of the time. It's a smaller hotel but it's beautiful with its beautiful decore and unique touches. They have 3 fresh infused flavor waters to welcome you. Beautiful swimming pool area that is heated and a jacuzzi. It's a nice quiet place to get away, they are family friendly. The pool area has relaxing music playing, they had corn hole, large connect four, and some other outdoor games. Might be seasonal. Also if it's a warm/hot day the nice guys go out and offer I think otter pops or water. They are the sweetest ever! This hotel also has something right because they put out a few inflatable pool balls and it says take me home if you want to. This may sound like it's more for children but some adults actually enjoy this! Been there so many times and it such a nice tranquil place! They have nice cabanas and few fireplaces. They help with anything! I have a huge list of names. I know Ana always goes above and beyond for all her guests. The young girls and men all greet you with beautiful smiles. I hope they don't change this place like they did with The Hadsten House! This hotel is part of a Casino Chumash, That's how I had the pleasure of being a guest here. I hope they don't take this beautiful place away from us as a special treat. Also The Housekeeping Hands Down the best cleaning crew ever and so kind!! Please if you ever go there be as nice as they are to you. Some people want everything at their hand and feet and demand things. This place is very popular because All Class of people love it. From People with Money to people who prob have to save their last penny to go their. Hotel Corque Do your best to keep it the way its going! I've been to many, many places and this is one that I can say so many good things about the entire place that makes it Unique and special. Whoever is in charge do your best not to be making crazy changes. If anything keep your guests in mind the ones that love going back and the ones who tell everyone how amazing you all are! And the spot it's in! Next to beautiful Mission and the shops and food places! One of the best places to get your Ableskivers is at The Solvang Restaurant! You'll learn that place was In a ?.”

“We had a very nice stay at the Mirabelle inn which is really a bed and breakfast. We stayed in room nine which was very nice and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. It's a very quaint place. I would say it's like a boutique. The one negative I would say is that it's no frills and what I mean by that is no coffee maker, no phone in the room and the walls are very thin which means you hear everything. The room is very clean which to me is very important. I would stay there again if I was in the area.”

“Wow I don’t remember walking into a cleaner smelling place and I was a little hesitant because this place was very affordable on the scale of hotel cost. Someone recommended it to me at one of the wineries because I accidentally messed up my reservation and needed a place for Friday night and I would 100% 1000% stay here againwonderful place. Great value easy parking. Great location.”

“Stayed one night there for Christmas weekend. We booked king room with disability assistance (only one room left of last minutes booking). The room has a handy kitchen and regular size of refrigerator but no chairs. The room is cozy, clean, and modern. Bed is comfortable. AC is quiet but the noise is from refrigerator. Appreciate with the complimentary water and coffee. There is walking distance from the Copenhagen and it is quiet area when you want to get rest. Easy check-in and check-out.”

“Breakfast didn't meet my expectations at this room rate. Waitress was efficient and sweet. Public rooms are nice. Small yard is nice for kids to run around. Parking is good. Hotel has a fine restaurant on the neighboring lot and is a block away from another lovely restaurant, coffee shops and bakery. Streets are very quiet and calm. Los Olivos and Solvang are a few minutes drive away.Rooms: Spacious. Nice bed. Gas fireplace. Quiet. Elevator access. Walk in shower.Safety: Very quiet here. Seems safe to walk in the small town at night.”

“Great location and clean rooms. The pillows are extremely flat, so bring your own pillows if you like some volume. The free continental breakfast place is directly across from the hotel. However, there was a long line to get in, so my husband and I drove out of Solvang for breakfast. Expect to stand in line for a while if you plan to eat breakfast on Saturday morning. Overall, we enjoyed our stay?”

“We decided, on a whim, to just pick up and get out of town for a bit and head north. We knew of this place but didn't have a res and just decided to stop in and have a look around. This place is an absolute delight. Warm and inviting, they had me when I saw the fresh cookies by the door! It's just what you'd think a little "inn" would be in this part of the state. The lobby had a crackling fire going, fresh coffee and tea all day (and cookies!), wine and charcuterie in the early evening, and just a relaxed and easy going feeling that was perfect to exhale. The room was really nice (ours was at the top of the steps) and had a great view out the back (beautiful trees and rolling hills) and was quiet. No TV in the room (no problem there!) The sink is in the room while the small bathroom holds the toilet and tub/shower. Wifi is a bit sketchy and there is no cell service in that area. Free parking in the big lot in the back. Breakfast is included and was wonderful. We WILL be back, especially when/if the restaurant opens again for dinner at some point.”

“Stood here with my boyfriend halloween of 2023! The staff were the nicest people on the planet. They were so genuine and sweet. Extremely helpful, kind, and hospitable. Planning on staying here again just for a staycation of sorts just because we know it will be a comfortable nice quality clean room with the most friendly hosts imaginable!”

“The room was okay but there were some crumbs on the floor. Also check was online and should be 24h before but it was on the same day. If you are not from the US not easy without wi fi....Walkability: A lot of restaurants nearby but most if them closed on Mondays.”

“The hip decor isn’t worth the price. The hotel’s amenities were lacking for a holiday weekend. We booked in advance and were given no notice about the renovation. Nobody even said anything at check in. We found out when we couldn’t make breakfast reservations and ended up standing in line somewhere else. To us the nightly rate was way too high for this type of mishap. The mattress also needs help, very uncomfortable and you can hear people talking outside throughout the night at the fire pit. We didn’t get any rest here”

“For the most part me and my family really like this place. It's nice that it's not to far a ride to pismo our favorite coastal area. The town is really nice reminds us of our hometown. One thing that was a downer is that on the Thursday night of our last night to enjoy the pool table and ping pong table and our stay. My 4 year old wanted to go down stairs to the lobbie to play in the guest area because he was bored in the room. Granted it was after 10 pm and we know the outside pool and spa are closed and the fitness area, but the lady working that night pretty much kicked us out because some other teenagers were being to loud and rough with the ping pong ?. My 4 year old was upset we had to take him back up to the room after only a few minutes. I understand quite time but people are on vacation, not everyone goes to bed early on vacation.”

“Quaint little hotel. Love this place. It's off the beaten path, not close the the main drag, but worth it.Walkability: It's only a few minutes walk to the main drag.”

“Great location smacked in the middle of all shops, restaurants, and wine tasting. Loved our upstairs rooms with high ceilings, wood floors and extra large, with long table with benches in the middle. This was a "girlfriends" trip and it was perfect!”

“Thank you for having our rooms ready and clean. The service was great. I can tell these are hard- working people. Bring your own shampoo and body wash. They provide the small hand soaps and towels. We had a small fridge and microwave, and the room was cozy. Nicely upgraded, nothing fancy, but they want your stay to be as comfortable and accommodating as possible. There are great views all around, and it's a few miles from Solvang, the town we visited. So worth it!”

“Location is perfect. Walking distance to everything. My only complaint was the room getting too hot & ac not cooling down the room, it’s understandable though since the rooms are older. We had the windows open but depending on your room you might not have privacy if they’re open.”

“Stayed here for 5 nights including on New Years. The room and area was very clean and safe and the facility they had were very nice. The pool was heated so the we could swim even in the cold January months. The room was big and spacious and the bathroom was very nice. On New Years night we didn’t have a bottle opener and to my surprise the front desk was actually open and the women working was very friendly. The only thing I would say could be a downside is if your coming from solvang it’s kinda difficult to get into but it’s not really the fault of the hotel just the location. Very nice hotel and we both agreed this if we come back we are coming to this one.”

“I am sad to announce the following 100-year-old California Pea Soup Andersen's closes without public notice Jan 2024. This was confirmed by 3 new sources. The building is going to possibly be redeveloped for housingThe Interstate 5 location of Pea Soup Andersen's in Santa Nella remains open and ready to serve weary travelers. So you will need to travel north for that Pea Soup fix”

“The room I stayed in was quite clean, and the woman at the front desk, Emily, was so helpful. She suggested great restaurants that are local, such as Ellen’s, and she was very friendly and welcoming at check in. She made me feel safe while staying there by myself, and because of her, I will be coming back to stay at this motel 6 when I am passing through and have to make a stop for the night. Thank you, Emily!! You were awesome. ??”

“Their hotel rate is cheap for the amenities it has .. the 5th top floor pool is amazing in its own.. I feel the willows is a great restaurant to take your wife too. I just hope this review shows my loyalty to the Chumash and helps them and their establishment.. and the pictures I took where mine just want to win that free play hot seat Wednesdays and wheel of winners on Thursdays”

“The general hotel experience was superior in almost every way. The room, the staff were very good. HOWEVER, I was appalled that there was no free unsecured wifi, then I morning coffee, no matter how poor, was not free. Fortunately, neither of these were a problem, just a disappointment to an otherwise very good stay.”

“Splurge on the hot tub suite, really nice room, and well worth it. Locate is great right off the end of the main street in Solvang, so everything was in walking distance but removed from the foot traffic. Would definitely stay here again.”
