265 Carmel Ave, Marina“I like it! Super convenient (for me). It's located near where we do a lot of our shopping. It's loaded with food we normally eat and the owner is very kind. I love exploring Asian markets for new food options but having the familiar to fall back on. This place has that vibe for me. It's Korean leaning and that's cool a lot of Asian type foods are quite similar with just a few changes in spices and preparation. Overall it's variety is good. A nice frozen section, selection of rice, noodles and meats. A wide selection of prepared condiments ( I'm lazy) for your rice and noodles. It's not a one stop shop and I don't need it to be, they have enough variety for me to return and try new things, and that's fun. The kind lady (owner) gave us a free package of house made Korean kimchi pancake type things for stopping in. P.S. on that last paragraph, the pancakes given to us I think are called kimchijeon. We just put them in a hot pan and crisped them up a little... bam! A nice side with all the other good things we got there too day. Last word...excellent!”
“I love coming here for my Asian treats! The service is always casual if you need help ask and they will help you. Sometimes I'll go in and let them know what I want to make and they help out more letting you know what to use and how to use it etc.... The ambiance is always great clean organized and easy to find stuff.. parking can be tricky but usually always find parking”
“This is a good grocery store. They have a good selection and some unique items also. I found the toothpaste I use. I would have bought a lot of tasty food but I wasn't hungry. They also had garden plants and flowers out front for the summer.”
“BEST MENUDO IN THE ENTIRE 831!!Best breakfast to have. We’ve been buying their menudo for the past 20+ years and as someone that’s tried menudo in many other places from San Francisco to Monterey none can beat this one at El Rancho Market. This menudo comes paired with its cilantro/onion mix as well a crushed pepper with oregano on its separate containers.I’ll be honest I haven’t been in the store in many years but my dad brings us menudo from here just about every weekend. When we go visit family in Modesto area they always ask us to bring them some. That’s how good it is.On the picture I added my own home grown oregano hence the big oregano leaves.Everyone needs to give their menudo a try.”
“Stopped by here to get some Korean goods before heading to Monterey Bay. Place is very clean and the owners were very kind and friendly. I was surprised by the quality of their food. Kimbop was delicious and it’s only $2.50!!! Their squid salad mix with kimbop is heavenly. I highly recommend this place.”
“If you ever have the time on Sunday from 10am till 2pm. I would highly recommend coming to the Farmers Market in Marina, it's small but worth it! Wonderful people, great products; fresh vegetables, baked goods, delicious snacks like kettle corn and cheesecakes to jewelry and more! Come check it out!”
“Fresh made pasta, homemade sauces, roasted garlic, prepared foods such as hummus & marinated olives, who can ask for anything more. Well there is more. Crackers, cakes, cookies & gluten free baked goods. There is something for everyone. Yvette aims to please.”

Clean and well-organized, with a large selection of almost everything, including wine. Very friendly and helpful staff that have become pleasantly familiar to visit. Generally decent prices - taking advantage of the sales makes a big difference.”

“The nicest staff and an amazing selection of asian groceries. There is a wide variety of snacks, sauces, hot pot meats, and more. The store is quite small but feels very homey. Apple pay is accepted! Please consider supporting this small business! It's a hidden gem that is worth the visit :)”
