“We had a good experience shopping at Goodwill Central Coast.

The store was clean, although a few areas were a little disorganized during our visit.

There was a good variety of items available, and we enjoyed looking through the selection.

The staff were polite, and there was plenty of parking available outside, making the store easy to access.

Overall, it was a pleasant shopping experience, and we would visit again.”

“A big light in the community. Not only do they care, they almost cater to all your needs. If social services and mental health were also interned in one building....man. Great service, clean facilities and home-cooked meals. No slop meals ever. With care.”

“They don't get as many new donations as say, goodwill. But they always have some interesting stuff and are always super friendly. They also price fairly. I love to support this place.”

“This place is PACKED with gorgeous clothing (dont want to label it but to me the overall style felt like a western bohemian), accessories, home decor, and so much more. The store has half womens and half mens, so it was nice for both my husband and i to be able to spend time looking through everything without worrying about whether the other person had enough to look at. The owner obviously adores her store and it definitely shows through all of the items she handpicked and how she’s decorated and maintained this lovely store. Would recommend checking it out.”

“First time in today and found all I needed in one trip, lamps, chairs and a beautiful chest of drawers with a mirror. All great quality furniture and such helpful staff, now I know where to go when I have specific needs. Thank you”

“Great store, well priced and very nicely merchandised. The staff is also wonderful and it's always fun to stop in and see what new items are in. This is a very well managed store.”

“Well curated donated items in excellent condition in this smaller thrift / benefit shop.

Parking up front along Broadway and also around back.

Limited hours, they close at 3:00pm, but worth the effort to shop there. The proceeds stay in the community and they post in the store the nonprofit organizations they support.

The selection is broad but not deep but the items are presented well and are in great condition. The store is clean and well organized so overall it's a pleasant shopping experience.

The staff is helpful and friendly. It's one of the better thrift shops in the area and I highly recommend you schedule a visit.”

“The ACS Discovery Shop in Pacific Grove next to Lucky’s is more than a Thrift Store; it’s a treasure shop. There are dedicated volunteers, an abundance of fairly priced clothing, and true treasures in the household section. Last week, I was looking for a wall mirror. A volunteer pointed out 6 different ones. To my delight, the last one was perfect.”

“I used to have such fun shopping here. The merchandise was always kept clean and neatly organized. Fresh merchandise brought in every day. If you see it and want it, better buy it now because there won't be any more. So many bargains. Loved the place.”

“One of my favorite thrift stores and the place I donate to the most.
They keep it well organized and clean and the staff are all very friendly, especially those in the donation area.
I like that local donations stay local and for some reason it gives me a kick to see my own dresses hanging in there, waiting for their next person.
They also have reasonable prices and great sales.”

“Glad we got a chance to visit here and shop here. I got a cute sweater, skirt, well 2 sweaters and they're comfortable also and timeless! Ladies were really friendly and the guy at the front is very nice! Everyone here including the Filipino guy singing and dancing. Would come here again! Great selection of cute items that are classy and simple.”

“I like to check out thrift stores when I am traveling. Came to second chance yesterday and I absolutely loved it! There was a good selection (more housewares than clothes) and great prices. I got a ton of stuff for only $12!

A lot of the displays were curated well and looked cute. The employees were SOOOO nice. One even offered to hold my baby because she was fussing!!! It was really sweet.

I did bring my stroller in and got stuck numerous times because the aisles were pretty small. I did notice heavy dining tables stacked on top of one another so I could see how other people would be concerned about hazards. This wasn't a deal breaker for me since I was visiting and in and out quickly, but I'd imagine that if you were a local who came in often or an employee, it would be worrying.”

“Came from out of town for a quick outfit for a party my clothes didn’t make it and for under $20 I have a perfect outfit for my party!! Thank you Plato’s!!!”

“If you're hunting for clothes, this Goodwill is worth a stop. The clothing section has a solid rotation and you can usually find something good with a little patience. Selection on household goods, electronics, and other items is pretty thin compared to other locations, so temper your expectations there. Parking is easy and stress-free. The staff is friendly and helpful. A solid neighborhood thrift store for a quick clothing run.”

“This place is small but with lots of items. We didn't have too much time to look through all the areas since there are large amounts of items. Not sure if it was new or had little of opening at this location but we could not find it on Yelp. The employee was kind, helpful and she was very friendly. The clothes looked good; nothing stood out for us but the prices were pretty "typical" of a thrift store. Definitely cheaper than the usual Goodwill stores. It is not the best organized store and it's not where you come to find "anything" you need but rather whenever you're not looking for anything and have time to look through things. Some items looked old and maybe some not useful while others looked old and could be considered "vintage". Overall an okay place to at least check out at least once.”
