“I came into this store after having a very frustrating and fruitless experience at the Auburn Home Depot. I was asked within five seconds of entering this store if I needed help. Told them I was looking for a plastic panel to cover a florescent light fixture. Gentleman not only showed me what I was looking for, but also helped me look through the different types they had so I picked out the right one, and even cut it for me without charging the cutting fee. I think it’s obvious where I will be shopping from now on.”

The big dude at the counter helped me locate the correct capacitor in their humongous warehouse. Price was great and service was awesome. Will be back. Even if I have to drive from Folsom again. “Very nice team. Counter help and yard help have been helpful. Even the guy who checks you out of the yard once you have your lumber is very nice and even put a thick plastic red flag on the end of the wood for safety while driving.
Their prices are probably a third less than Home Depot and Lowes, so I won't buy wood anywhere else from now on. I would recommend the Auburn Diamond Pacific on Atwood Dr to anyone wanting less of a corporate (HD/Lowes) atmosphere of underpaid, jaded employees and wants to support a local branch with considerate local workers. Public is welcome. Not just contractors.”
“I've been there dozens of times. The staff is always helpful, the store is very well-equipped, basically everything you need for home renovation can be bought there. But lately, mainly tools on a "tether", either a chain or in a cage. Even ordinary cables in a cage under lock and key.
And prices for many things are lower than in Poland”

“One of Meadow Vista’s local heroes is David Lease at Ace Hardware — cape optional, flannel mandatory! I’m telling you people, the man runs this place like a Briggs & Stratton huffing on starter fluid.
Although the selection may not be the biggest you’ve ever seen, the staff is unreasonably helpful. Ask for duct tape, and they’ll not only hand it to you — they’ll tell you three optional ways to fix your marriage with it.
Don’t think twice for your propane needs either - this place has Hank Hill levels of propane preparedness.
