“I couldn't find barberries at two Mediterranean markets that were closer to me, but Pirooz had them! Same deal with rose petals. Also I tried 3 American and 2 Mediterranean markets and could not find fresh pomegranates (I must have just missed the season), but Pirooz had them, and they were delicious. Staff was also very helpful.”
“Oakwood Market has been a staple in East Palo Alto. The owners are very customer friendly and know their customers and community. They have variety of produce and proteins. The chorizo, breakfast sausage, party wings are a must get. Again they have a variety of things so go ahead and give them a try. Weather you're in Palo Alto , it's literally right over the bridge. They have a huge parking lot out side so you don't have to worry about that. Thanks again to the Oakwood family for taking care of the community and people. Much love.”

“Ditch crun h roll with black forest ham and pepper jack cheese lettuce tomato and onions and pepprochinis. It was the bomb ! The bread was fresh and soft. The vegetables were fresh! Huge sandwich enough to split. Little pricey but it's worth it ?”
“We each got a taco platter, so two tacos each--2 chicken, 1 lengua, and 1 al pastor... Tacos were more than decent--they exceeded my expectations. You see, I was led to believe we walked in to El Palenque, so I was excited until I discovered that we were actually somewhere that had only TWO stars, so I was a little nervous... Turns out the lengua was tender and flavorful, and the al pastor was very tasty! Fresh tomatillo salsa was VERY fresh, and the chips were also fresh and very tasty...rice was fluffy, and the beans were rich and well-seasoned...was a relief to see that it was actually pretty good!”
“We had a wonderful experience with the San Carlos Bianchini! The sales manager, Denise was a joy to work with and her staff were incredible. The food was delicious and so perfect for Mother's Day.
We had a grill with tri tip and chicken with lots of side dishes. Very plentiful and beautifully displayed. I will be back for another special event. Terri”

But I passed by multiple other groceries to get to the one with the EV fast charger... charge & shop!”
“We ordered a Brisket sandwich along with 3 BLTs another chicken sandwich, all of them were outstanding! They were made to order as specified. We even ordered a gluten-free sandwich and it was great! We called in the order early in the morning and it was ready for us at the specific time we indicated. I also had the opportunity to shop at the meat counter and buy some air chilled organic chicken and grass-fed very lean ground beef. Wish I had more time to shop around the store.”
“My co workers and I have Safeway Friday tradition. We go to the deli and get their special. We get hyped and make a big deal of it. The fruit salads were great last time I picked them up premade.”

“I’m a senior citizen and I really appreciate people that are polite and kind tonight I met a young man named Jonathan at your store in Belmont. He was the epitome of a perfect gentleman or employee. He was kind he was helpful. I told him I had just had soldier surgery and he made a point to go out of his way and lift everything for me without my asking he is such an asset to the company. I want you to give him a week vacation and a raise of course that’s the dope, but please pat them on the back and tell him how much he’s appreciated. He’s a very, very nice young man. Thank you.”

“It's a pretty standard store but like most stores they are super convinient when they're almost at your doorstep! This is my goto for any last minute essentials or missing ingredients we may need without having to travel anywhere!
It's fairly clean inside and i have nothing negative to say about this location!”

“Great place to grab a quick bite of sodium heavy and fatty foods, which make things taste good! Also super cheap in this day and age. For under 4 bucks, you get their big hotdog with drink and a pizza. Even the relish and onions (need to ask for the latter tho) have made a comeback! I do wish they'd bring back the combo pizza. At least you can get some veggies in that. There's always the Caesar salad, though I have previously never gotten it.”
