There is now STREET TACOS including a Trompo of Al Pastor out front. They seem to be open late (like 11pm), with tables outside.
Oddly the sign also has some asian ( likely chinese ) which I haven't parsed yet.”
“This little commerce is in the middle of a neighborhood and sells mostly mexican products. We personaly like to buy some fruits and chips and guacamole. The staff is ok but sometimes is not very focused on their job. It is clean and useful.”

“This is a regular Safeway. Full selection of products. Bathroom access a bit difficult. There is also a watch repairman inside the store who is superb. He fixed my watch on the spot in 2 minutes. The other watch repair in Menlo Park told me I had to wait 24 hours. FOR WATCH REPAIRS COME HERE AND SEE MONSIEUR MO!”

“I love this Safeway! It’s my favorite in the Bay Area since they stay open 24/7 they also have a hot food & a salads bar. The staff are always very friendly especially the “ice cream man” (I feel terrible but I’m drawing a blank on his name) but he is super friendly & very helpful & just fun to chat with especially when it’s 3am & barely any customers… he’s around cool.
I also love the large size of this Safeway! And now that San Mateo’s Safeway is no longer open 24/7 ? it appears that this is only one open all night so I ?? hoping that they don’t start closing this location especially since I’m nocturnal ?”

“We ordered sandwiches here and they were very good. I tried the OMG tripe and it was delicious. However, there were only two people working, so service was a bit slow. It took about an hour to prepare four sandwiches. Since it was around noon, it’s understandable that it would be busy, but having additional staff during peak hours would definitely improve the experience.”
