“The food is consistently good and they have a lot to choose from at decent prices. I often order the champurrado which is an atole drink which is usually thick & creamy. It’s the perfect drink to warm up one’s tummy on a cold day. I order multiple at a time to last me days. This last time, all 4 drinks were as watery (very watered down) as hot chocolate. They weren’t even very hot. Usually it’ll feel like it’s burning my tummy but this was more like thin hot chocolate. Even the listing says it’s “thick” but unfortunately whomever made my drinks this early evening didn’t do it correctly. I ordered late and have a feeling they were low and an employee watered down what they had to make 4 full cups. Not only am I Mexican, I know what it should taste like. This was not champurrado. The word thick (as used in their description) doesn’t align w my video showing the “champurrado” sloshing around in the cups. Now I’m unsure if I should keep ordering from this place. I know what I’ll get when it comes to the food but I can’t say the same for their drinks. Unfortunately I can’t post the video and it’s not possible to see in a picture. Luckily, I was able to get a refund thru DoorDash. When I tried calling today to ensure they have it and it’s as it should be (thick), nobody answers one listed # and the other a woman answers “hello” w no announcement of the restaurants name or anything before hanging up. (It’s not my phone as it works fine calling everyone else.) I really want to support local establishments but they also need to understand customer service and how important phone etiquette is when running a business. EDIT: I changed my review because of the customer service provided regarding my issue and the obvious attention to feedback. The manager returned my call and assured me the drink would be made appropriately and not to worry. She was not wrong! Since then, I’ve been ordering pretty consistently and it’s been absolutely wonderful! Thick and creamy as it’s suppose to be. I can’t get enough! And it’s reassuring to know the management makes an effort to rectify customer concerns.”
“I absolutely am in love with this place. I dread getting my WIC. But I got everything with no hassle and did not have to stand in line. I simply slid my WIC card. The gentlemen grab all my items. He gave me options. In less than 10 minutes, I had all my stuff! He helped me carry my groceries to the car, because I had my little one. In addition, to this he told me about their new app and curbside pickup. I am going to try this next month and will let you know how it works.Cons: Limited selection of produce and Lactose milk is a bit different than the other kind I usually get.”

Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions. Behind the scenes, the service leans on Walmart's store network and an algorithm that factors in order size, available drivers, and distance from the store.
Trader Joe's keeps adding stores, and shoppers keep showing up. The California grocer has marked nine more locations as "opening soon," pushing its expansion into new corners of the country. The grocer also took first place in the American Customer Satisfaction Index's 2026 supermarket rankings. It has held a spot near the top of that list for years.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.
Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
