“I love this bookstore! The aisles and the books themselves are clean and unobstructed. Even better, the proprietor keeps them well-organized and in alphabetic order, where applicable, and has a great selection of both fiction and non-fiction. She greets you cheerfully, is happy to help you with your list if you have one, or leaves your to browse or read peacefully if that's what you want. I spent a pleasant 2 hours there and went home with a nice stack of books for my collection. What could be better than a store that sells you what you want and makes the shopping experience an enjoyable experience rather than a necessary evil!”

“Pretty cool. Little market, set up to have just about everything that you need in an emergency. I was very surprised to see a fresh meat counter. And since it was our first time there, they gave us some free chorizo, which was most excellent when we cooked it up with scrambled eggs!”
“My Mom and I went in the afternoon to check it out. She bought some pan dulce and I bought this interesting peach ice cream that was expensive $6.99 but it was good. Light and not super sweet on a stick. There's some Central American food from our country of Costa Rica. The cakes looked nice except for the bear on the side of one cake.. lol, he looked funky. Everyone had a smile! All the employees looked so nice. Even the manager in the front had the most incredible patience as 1 customer kept having her cards decline, and were holding up the line. He just waited patiently. I asked, they are not hiring at the moment he said look at his Facebook page for updates. Because it was the afternoon. The pan dulce was almost all sold out. They had samples that were covered. Everything was stocked and they were stocking as we were shopping too. Alot of Latin products and Chinese and Japanese products too! They also have money gram and pay bills option. The piñata were cute! Some things were equal to most stores some had maybe $1-$2 above regular price, but every store has different prices and this store is for convenience from the bigger Crowded lines of Rancho San Miguel. Although they had 2 cashiers the line went quickly. My Mom is in almost all the pics. ? also they grill chicken outside and you can buy it inside. It Smells amazing! Parking is ehhh. A little crowded and a bit dangerous backing out. They made the outside of the store really nice and the other Plaza stores got a face lift in the process! I can see this market bringing in profit for all the other stores too!”

“I absolutely am in love with this place. I dread getting my WIC. But I got everything with no hassle and did not have to stand in line. I simply slid my WIC card. The gentlemen grab all my items. He gave me options. In less than 10 minutes, I had all my stuff! He helped me carry my groceries to the car, because I had my little one. In addition, to this he told me about their new app and curbside pickup. I am going to try this next month and will let you know how it works.Cons: Limited selection of produce and Lactose milk is a bit different than the other kind I usually get.”

“The food is consistently good and they have a lot to choose from at decent prices. I often order the champurrado which is an atole drink which is usually thick & creamy. It’s the perfect drink to warm up one’s tummy on a cold day. I order multiple at a time to last me days. This last time, all 4 drinks were as watery (very watered down) as hot chocolate. They weren’t even very hot. Usually it’ll feel like it’s burning my tummy but this was more like thin hot chocolate. Even the listing says it’s “thick” but unfortunately whomever made my drinks this early evening didn’t do it correctly. I ordered late and have a feeling they were low and an employee watered down what they had to make 4 full cups. Not only am I Mexican, I know what it should taste like. This was not champurrado. The word thick (as used in their description) doesn’t align w my video showing the “champurrado” sloshing around in the cups. Now I’m unsure if I should keep ordering from this place. I know what I’ll get when it comes to the food but I can’t say the same for their drinks. Unfortunately I can’t post the video and it’s not possible to see in a picture. Luckily, I was able to get a refund thru DoorDash. When I tried calling today to ensure they have it and it’s as it should be (thick), nobody answers one listed # and the other a woman answers “hello” w no announcement of the restaurants name or anything before hanging up. (It’s not my phone as it works fine calling everyone else.) I really want to support local establishments but they also need to understand customer service and how important phone etiquette is when running a business.
EDIT: I changed my review because of the customer service provided regarding my issue and the obvious attention to feedback. The manager returned my call and assured me the drink would be made appropriately and not to worry. She was not wrong! Since then, I’ve been ordering pretty consistently and it’s been absolutely wonderful! Thick and creamy as it’s suppose to be. I can’t get enough! And it’s reassuring to know the management makes an effort to rectify customer concerns.”
