“Embarked upon an in-person visit to Patelco Credit Union (San Mateo branch) on 08/12/2023 for follow-up regarding an electronic funds transfer for a car loan. It was an urgent matter given I anticipated collecting the new car on Sunday. I was served by the assistant branch manager there, Leena, who was very congenial and gregarious, courteous, understanding, receptive to my requests, and interpersonally effective. The existing issue was promptly and conscientiously solved, and I was on my way in no time. I recommend them without any reservations.”
“I love the way they help when I have special requests. And they pay interest. Unlike the big banks that cost money and they give no real service. I've already had 2 others join. There online could be a bit friendlier, but then again I'm an old guy navigating through websites is just tedious to me. I wholeheartedly recommend Unify. “I opened a checking account today with the help of the friendly Security guard who greeted me and directed me to the sign in kiosk. He also saw that I was carrying a large bag of loose coins. He showed me I could start using the coin star machine and take the receipt to the teller when I was done opening my new account. Ms Jackson also greeted me and I was opening my new checking account and issued a debit card in a few minutes. I glad to be moving my business to SF FIRE CREDIT UNION.”

“Due to my own inability to think well and a snafu with Social Security, I defaulted on my credit card payments. Instead of asking Patelco for help immediately, I waited and destroyed my credit. Ugh. Finally, I went to see Tony, the Manager, at the Daly City Patelco. He graciously helped me get my past-due account paid off and reinstituted my checking account. Tony never once shamed me or did anything negative. His only obvious goal was to help me. Wow. A Banker whose goal was and is to help a member of the Credit Union! I highly recommend Patelco to anyone looking for a small bank or Credit Union that gives personalized financial services. It makes both "cents" and sense!”
