“This lab is one of the few in the area that I've seen using the BD 368652 Vacutainer lines. If you have a lot of blood work to complete, I highly recommend doing it all here since the flexible lines on the draw needle lead to a much better experience. With the flexible line, the technicians don't have to hold the needle steady while sampling so there's a significantly reduced chance of bruising or unnecessary needle movement.
Also, wait times for walk-ins are literally a million times shorter (yes, a million) than at any Quest location (walk-in) in the bay.”
“I love the San Francisco facility at National Bioskills Laboratories! The large facility is state of the art, the staff are exceptional and our events are always executed flawlessly!”
“Check in was really easy at the kiosk, and they took me in immediately (I had an appointment). The folks there were really nice, and took me seriously when I told them I tend to pass out. They let me wait for a specific room with a lay flat option to draw blood to become available. The did seem short staffed (it seemed only two people were working, one checking people into their rooms and getting their paperwork/vials ready and the Phlebotomist. My phlebotomist was awesome! She was kind and patient, checked in during the draw to make sure I was okay, and encouraged me to take it slow after and brought me a water. Definitely will come back here for future blood work, this was one of the best experiences I've had getting blood drawn.”
“Walk-in for lab is pretty quick and efficient. But hours should be kept up-to-date. I was waiting in the parking lot for a while before going in because Google maps said they opened at 8:30. I also had another appointment to go to and ended up coming back here after. That was a huge mistake. It's best to go as early as you can. Parking is HORRIBLE around 10am!”
“I walked in for a blood draw recently and it was a pretty seamless experience. There was a line out front before they opened, but the staff got everyone checked in very quickly and they moved through the list swiftly as well. They were kind and patient - overall, a breeze!”
“had a lovely experience here this morning. I was extremely stressed due to the fact I had to take a last minute covid-19 PCR test for my flight tonight, and the staff here was amazing. They were nothing but friendly and helped me quickly and made sure that I had everything I needed to ensure I would be able to fly safely and make my trip tonight. “I will be honest I was afraid from the reviews!! But my experience went softly and respectfully, I arrived 11:30 am before the lunch break , filled the form , wait 7 min, a lady called my name, gave the sample and go home ! , totally 10 min , if u respect the laws nothing will go bad ! And don’t expect a smile because it’s a serious office environment.”
“I went in on a Saturday as a walk-in. I arrived at 7:40 and was out by 9:30. The waiting room was full and while the workers were efficient with check-in and care, this being the only Labcorp open on a Saturday in the peninsula means you can expect a wait. Arrive as early, bring a book, snacks, and water.
Parking is tricky in this area, there’s a large construction projection going on next to the building.
Service was professional and friendly. It would make everyone’s lives easier if labcorp had more labs open on Saturday (the demand is there) but that’s on the company, not the receptionists and technicians who are doing their best.”
“I had an appointment at 10:20am but showed up at 9:50am. I was taken in at 10am and was out by 10:15am. I was treated my Mark and he was very thorough and pleasant.”
“The staff is great. On my most recent visit, there was apparently a technical issue with the scheduling that allowed people to book 4 appointments every 10 minutes although there were only 3 phlebotomists scheduled to serve them. The staff did their best to accommodate every customer in whatever way possible. My wait was longer than expected, but not terrible.”
