1438 Princeton Ave, ModestoOh my gosh. 5 star isn’t even come close to what / how I want to leave a review. I called and the owner Lisa told me to bring our pit in right away that needed a nail trim in the worst possible case.
Upon arriving she greeted us outside and said bring her in ( Mary Jane ) our big Ol baby.
No lecture or criticism or “well she made need something for anxiety etc etc. this is after making several other calls to those kind of businesses that say that.
I held our dog and I’m telling you. In less than five minutes she was done. I was the one with the highest anxiety and Lisa put that to rest with her compassion and professionalism. I cannot say thank you enough. This place is now our “Go to” hands down.

3020 Floyd Avenue Ste 321, ModestoJustin, the cat groomer, is amazing. I've been helping this community cat for awhile now and a few months ago I found her in a real bad state. She had poo down her backside and I noticed she had matted fur all along her underside. I was really struggling finding a cat groomer, especially one that'd take a cat in this state. Justin was able to work her into his schedule and even got her finished within the hour so she didnt have to stay there for too long. I want to highlight that I asked Justin to not clip her nails since she was still an outside cat at that time which he had no problem with.
I took her back to him again this week since we discovered she will need dental extractions we have taken her in. She is having trouble cleaning herself because of her mouth pain so we asked him to shave her as much as possible to help us keep her clean. She looks a little silly but I can tell Justin takes good care of her. She acts normal after picking her up from there and he even was able to brush her teeth for us.
**I don't know what Justin's policy is but just as an FYI for anyone else taking in community cats, this cat was vaccinated, treated with flea medicine monthly, and is not feral.

I was quoted for an emergency surgery at another vet for 2k + 2-400 in daily visits. Although at Crow's Landing it would still typically be 2k, Dr. Ramirez took my situation into mind and set me up for the surgery at 1k. This seriously saved me, and especially my dog. Thank you!!!

1601 Kiernan Ave, ModestoI have three Goldendoodles and needed a trustworthy place to board them while I traveled. I submitted a request online, and the process was simple and easy to understand. The next morning, Alexis called me and kindly answered all of my questions and concerns.
I scheduled a tour with Dawson, and the facilities were spotless. I really appreciate their clear policies and procedures because it gave me confidence knowing my dogs would be safe and well cared for.
When drop-off day came, my dogs happily went with him into the kennel with no hesitation. When I picked them up, I could tell they’d been treated with love and attention.
I won’t hesitate to return! I’m already planning another trip in the spring and will definitely be booking their stay again. And even though price doesn’t matter as much to me when considering who I can trust with my babies, they were the most affordable in our area and were recommended to me by a couple of friends. Now I know why!!!!

Food was delicious and served on intentionally mismatched vintage plates, which I thought was neat. The “early bird” is a great fresh veggie option. Finished the meal with a biscuit and jam and there’s nothing I would change. I’d happily come back to Modesto just to eat here again. And to visit my parents.

They have the usual selection of sodas plus 2 flavors from Tractor.

The server was a little on the snob side for the punk food vibe we expected, but was very efficient. The bruschetta, green salad and lamb chops were particularly amazing. Great beer and wine list too. A nice sour and Spanish wine fit our tastes. Chef brought a few of our dishes to the table, which was nice. Any Gen X er will appreciate the subtle soundtrack, with enough edge to make it memorable. We will be back for sure.
