4342 Geer Rd, HughsonLoved this place. The large playground is so beautiful for the kids to play with and best of all is that it's free to enter. We bought honey, some cold lattes (which were not that good) and some strawberry cheesecake which we loved. My hubby got the apple strudel which he didn't like much. They also have many fresh fruits to choose from. Loved that they also had some bite size samples of the cakes they sell. When we were on the playground side we heard a goat shrieking with pain, and when we went to see what had happened one poor goat was getting choked with the wooden table. The whole table had flipped and he got stuck underneath with the wooden table asphixiating him. My friend's husband went inside to help the poor goat out. So as a suggestion to the owners they need to fasten that table down because had no one been out there that goat would've died because he couldn't breathe.

2400 Santa Fe Ave, HughsonLet me tell you I love love there brisket on Mac and cheese. You have to eat outside. There are no inside eating here and make sure you go early cause they sell out fast and these guys are serious about their barbecue and it is good.

6724 E Whitmore Ave, HughsonWe arrived just as they opened (11am). Service was fast and friendly. Note: everyone said the food tasted excellent, but my Carne Asada was a bit more bland then I'm used to. Not that it was bad, mind you, it just didn't wow me. The salsa is really good, and all the sauces and produce were fresh and tasty. Would recommend. Love the paintings and the atmosphere.
