We had a script for a hospital bed for my Uncle, who resides at a assisted living facility in Van Nuys. I called and spoke with Sam and another lady who were very helpful and directed me to Julie. The Dr. script was not properly completed and Julie had to make several calls to the Dr. to get this through. “Renting medical equipment when you live out of the area can be challenging. We went to visit family and my mobility-impaired husband needed a transport chair . We don't own one as he only uses one when we travel. I looked up medical supply places in the area we were going to, read the reviews, and contacted A & M Medical. They were excellent to work with, delivered and picked up the chair from the hotel we were staying at, and provided a very nice brand new chair at a reasonable price. My niece is a physical therapist and she was impressed with the chair- said for a rental it was very nice. It is sad to say, however these days I am impressed when someone does what they say they will do!! I recommend A & M supply and appreciate their services.”

“Intracommunity Home Care went so many extra miles to help my mother-in-law get a portable oxygen concentrator. Her doctor’s office was having a hard time replying in a timely manner to give her a prescription for the device, so Geraldine at IHC called the office to aid the transaction. After the prescription came through, they made an appointment to thoroughly explain how to use the device, and called back several times to make sure everything was going well. They thought of things my MIL might want before she even brought it up. What’s really hard to express is how comfortable they made her feel during the whole process. Some people were trying to cut the line to get help but they kindly told everyone to wait in line. They were honest telling me the wait time for my medication and copay. The copay was high and the pharmacist told me other options. I let the pharmacist to contact my doctor to change to another equivalent medication. I was notified by both telephone and text message to pick up my medication the next day. This pharmacy is big and nice. It will become my preferred pharmacy from now on.”
