“My whole family and I have been coming to see James at this lovely location for years now. This is a pivotal part of our semi annual day trips to Monterey. We love looking for special and unique treasures here and always find something for everyone at reasonable prices. But honestly, the very best part, is the relationship built by chatting with the lovable shop patron over these years. He’s been so kind to my older mother and even gifted her a special ring that she was eying on her birthday trip one year and it moved her to tears. This place is a must see, tucked in a lovely little spot, right by great places to grab a snack, have a sit down meal, view the bay, or sit on a bench and just enjoy the vibes, we highly recommend adding Super Silver Monterey to your next trip itinerary be it a one-and-only or the beginning of a new tradition.

“This was my second visit to the shop. Last year I got an inexpensive but lovely pair of abalone earrings. This time I was shopping for a matching pendant or necklace, but instead was intrigued with lovely Ethiopian opal earrings and also some abalone earrings in sterling. I was offered a discount on the expensive opal earrings, and bought the lovely abalone earrings as well. They dangled a little too long, so they shortened them with a post versus shepherd's hook fixture. Love this place, and will look forward to visiting again on my next trip. Beautiful jewelry all around the store, and helpful staff to guide help you with choices. The jewelry is absolutely beautiful.”

“This place is small but with lots of items.We didn't have too much time to look through all the areas since there are large amounts of items. Not sure if it was new or had little of opening at this location but we could not find it on Yelp.The employee was kind, helpful and she was very friendly. The clothes looked good; nothing stood out for us but the prices were pretty "typical" of a thrift store. Definitely cheaper than the usual Goodwill stores.It is not the best organized store and it's not where you come to find "anything" you need but rather whenever you're not looking for anything and have time to look through things. Some items looked old and maybe some not useful while others looked old and could be considered "vintage". Overall an okay place to at least check out at least once.”
