Wave Street Inn is a charming, cozy boutique hotel that captures the coastal charm of Monterey. Its location is perfect, unbeatable, and excellent, just steps from Cannery Row, the aquarium, and beautiful ocean views, making exploring the area incredibly easy. The hotel has a modern coastal vibe and is thoughtfully decorated, though some rooms are described as okay but a bit tired looking. The staff receives consistent praise for being the most welcoming, genuinely friendly, eager to help, and hugely helpful, creating a feeling of warm hospitality. Parking is noted as excellent and convenient, though the lot is small. Many guests highlight lovely, clean rooms, especially on the top floor facing the ocean. A significant drawback mentioned is noise from rooms above, which can be bothersome, and occasional issues like a non-working air conditioner. Despite this, many guests would stay again and highly recommend it for its great walking location to everything.

No complaints. I usually prefer to stay on the beach but the price between this place and those on cannery was a huge difference. Stayed on 4th floor, nice room and great walking location to everything.
