“I was very impressed with the staff today at the Morongo Valley location. Both cashiers were very helpful and respectful with all the customers especially the older disabled customers. Shane went out of his way to help an elderly disabled lady. I was very impressed.”
“Funky little place that makes the most wonderful date shakes. That's why we go. It can be very busy as they also make tasty sandwiches, but they do a good job of serving fairly quickly.
Vegetarian options: Just a couple good vegetarian options but they will custom make a sandwich.
Parking: Not far off the I-10 north of Palm Springs.”
“In general, this is a great Grocery Outlet location, with friendly employees and it's clean, with great selections. The reason for a 4-star rating is you MUST look out at the expiration dates here. Lately, it seems like there's been a lot of expired products and spoiled produce that should be rotated out. Also, make sure you watch your receipt because on several occasions, the price that was listed on the shelf was not the price that appeared on my receipt. But, it's a bargain store with sometimes niche products, so it is what it is. You have to do your own due diligence at Grocery Outlet locations and be smart with prices and expiration dates. I still like shopping here versus Vons or Stater Bros, whenever possible.”

“I come here all the time and I find it's cheaper than Stater Brothers. I've been satisfied with most of the products at Vons but the bakery goods. Every time I buy something that's packaged on the floor it's not very good. I recently bought the chocolate chip muffins for my husband, found that they're more like a lump of coal which I can only guess that's how coal taste as well. It was hard and had a horrible taste. I've bought cookies as well and other products, and they all have let me down. Again this is the package goods that are on the displayed by the bakery not what you get from the bakery case.”
“Had dinner here twice. Most authentic tacos in DHS, hands down. This is coming from the guy who used to do Mexico runs just for tacos. Most taco shops in the desert are terrible and nothing like Mexico tacos but these are really good and pretty much the only Mexican place in town I’ll eat at. Buyer beware, it’s not cheap by any means. My family of 4, which includes 2 toddlers, ate here for $84 before dropping a tip. But I will still be back because they are that good.”

“Best carne asada tacos in the valley in my opinion. Always stop by when in the city! Very well sized tacos with double tortilla. They are not stingy with the meat; these tacos are huge. I’m 6’ 290lbs I easily get filled with 2 or 3! Also try the buche; very good!”

Cashiers are pleasant, especially the lady that works there, is such a sweetheart, always happy, makes me happier. Haha! I love this place, convenient and close by. I don't Have to go all the way down the Hill to get anything. It's right there, save me a lot.”

“The most memorable day at Stater Brothers was June 7, 2024. I was going to the bank next to the grocery store at sunset. The sun completely blinded me and next thing I knew was crashing metal. Now I havebto prove the other car hit me or else I have to come up with a $1000.00 deductible and a accident on my record. Not very happy about life right now!!!”
