“Got help from an expert to find specific bolt and coupling in the last few minutes before closing.i’m so glad that the owners of the new OSH saw that the store had been an overall success, that it was worth restarting. OSH has things I can’t find anywhere else.And they seem to keep inventory up instead of running out like the bigger guys.Stores are always pretty much spotless.Getting in and out is much more convenient than the bigger guys.I prefer OSH over other hardware stores, mostly because the OSH stores are more uniform. You know what you’re gonna get.(My guess is that the former OSH’s upper management grew too large unnecessarily; too many top hats getting lots of raises - “because golfing at all the top courses plus lessons is getting so darned expensive!”, maybe.They likely didn’t know how to roll with the punches, tighten the belt, jettison the dead weight, survive at all costs. They killed the cash cow and her spoils.I wonder what they think about what they’re seeing now.)The new OSH is definitely panning out to be everything we missed about the old OSH.I noticed the inventory is increasing. It makes sense that it would take a while to get all the product back on the shelves like it had been before.”

“South City Lumber is our go to for all construction projects. Excellent customer service, go see Erika or Justin for assistance. We recently ordered Emtek cabinet hardware from Erika and she was patient enough and gave great recommendations. We have gotten so many compliments for our cabinet hardware.”
“Pacific Manor Hardware ACE is my go to place for everything DIY around the house. It is local, and it has everything I need. Most importantly, people working at this ACE really know what they are doing and always ready to help. This store may be a bit pricier than Home Depot; however, it is well worth it - the willingness to help and professional advice from people who work there is priceless.”

“Open until 9pm on Sunday! All other hardware stores were already closed Sunday night at 8pm. I drove from San Mateo to Ace in san Bruno. Ace had what I needed urgently, I got in with 4 minutes before closing. The store team are awesome.I was pleasantly shocked for the fact that this Ace is also a full grocery store.”

“Friendly, fast, and inexpensive service! I had Home Depot make me 3 keys with their $20,000 automated key machine and all 3 keys did not work. Came to designer's brass and was helped immediately. Not only were the keys the same price, but they also helped recut the keys from Home Depot. Never going anywhere else!”
“Just a tip: they do not fill CO2 tanks but rather exchange them out. If you happen to be looking for CO2 fills for paintball tanks they will not do it! That being said, they were extremely informative about the process to fill a tank and even pointed me in a direction to find a place to fill CO2 tanks. (This review is only for paintball tanks for aquarium CO2 regulators where the hunt continues!)”
