“This place is great. I've been a customer for 7 years. I have all my business mail delivered here and have never had an issue. Every time I go in for a personal matter or to make an Amazon return, the staff is friendly and no packages have ever been lost. The owner is a good person and on top of his staff. I was shocked to see some of these other reviews here, but I think sometimes people conflate a problem that might be more specifically related to UPS in general with just this specific store, which is sad to see. From my perspective you can confidently do business with this location and have a great experience.”

“I needed to send jeans back via Fed Ex (side note: it's probably best not to buy jeans online, unless you know your size in a certain brand) and was happy for this little inconvenience because it meant discovering this convenient spot. Also on my "to-do" list for the day was buying stamps and a lottery ticket. Actually, on my way to Our Postal Express, someone on the radio was talking about the huge jackpot but I thought "That means another stop, but maybe I'll get a ticket." Anyway, upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised that they sell lottery tix AND scratchers, which is cool cause I like to give scratchers as gifts. So I returned those awful jeans, bought a few lottery tickets (fingers crossed), and some stamps, all in one place. What a time saver. And the person working there was so nice to talk to. She was so cool, which made my errand seem way less like an errand. Really glad I found this place.”
“Floor staff immediately came and asked if I needed help, which I did. Walked me over to exactly what I needed and showed me to some options, the name brand I was looking for AND their own store brand. I bought one of each! Cashier greeted me, asked if I was a rewards member (I am) and keyed in my phone number. Very speedy service and helpful, friendly staff. I was happily pleased with my visit to the La Verne store on this day. Thank you.

“I am responding to the several selfish, unthoughtful negative reviews posted recently. I have come to this post office for more than 20 years, beginning from the time I was a student at the nearby colleges. I have noticed how USPS head office have steadily reduced the staff, services, and capabilities here while the number of customers has remained the same or grown. Head Office has set up this post office and hundreds more like it to fail. Your unthoughtful complaints are not helping. Meanwhile, staff here struggle valiantly on. I thank them for doing their best in spite of conditions beyond their control. May I recommend before you slam the staff here that you consider writing first to USPS Washington DC and your representatives. Thank you.”

“I came to yelp looking for business hours and I see this place only has 3 stars. I've been coming here for years. Not often, grant you, but I would say at least 1-2 times a year and they have always had the best customer service. I do mail so rarely they have to explain everything to me and they do so without annoyance or frustration at my probably stupid questions. They treat my kids really nice. And never once has any of my mail/packages ever gone astray. Can't think of why they would have poor overall reviews so I'm adding my 2cents here.”

“We were helped by Christopher and Lisa Smith (owner). Lisa was so kind and helpful. We explained that we went to the Montclair UPS and our packaged was refused by the woman working there. The Montclair location claimed that we needed to put our already packaged item in another box, otherwise they couldn’t accept it. So we came to this (Claremont) location where Christopher printed our receipt as proof of our return and Lisa told us it was not a problem and that they can accept the package and return it to Amazon for us. It took us 30minutes at the Montclair location only to still be turned away but a mere 3minutes at the Claremont location to drop off the package. Thank you Lisa and Christopher!! We really appreciate you! We will be returning to your location going forward! Everyone needs to come here. Fantastic customer service!”
“I stopped here two days before Christmas to deliver a FedEx package overnight and it was a very good experience. The young woman working at the counter was helpful and efficient. They had everything I needed and even let me use some tape for my box. There are a lot of negative reviews by cheapskates that don't want to pay one dollar for the convenience of dropping off a package here as opposed to waiting in line at the US post office. I thought the inside of this business was very clean very pleasant and I liked all the pictures of California memorabilia on the wall.”
