Lovely bookshop with a friendly face at the counter. Curiously housed inside the old gold assayer’s office—& the all-steel safe is now a bathroom! Excellent selection, perfect location—a must-stop!

I love this book store. I’m local and every time I have gone in for a specific book he has it on the shelf. The store has that amazing book store smell, broad selection for a small store and a very knowledgeable owner. A small business I’m always happy to support!

It's a spacious and airy place with beautiful scenery, and there are tables and chairs where you can sit and relax or have a light meal after strolling around. There are also clean restrooms available.
