CVS Pharmacy is the only traditional pharmacy in Newark. It accommodates valued customers with vaccinations and prescriptions. The store exists because of the pharmacy, not the products and food sold, which are available elsewhere. Customer service is better here than at Walgreens, but bathrooms are not available for customers. The pharmacy is constantly short-staffed. The workers are kind, pleasant, and helpful, and the pharmacists are nice to answer questions. It is a tough job with little appreciation. The store needs to become more customer-friendly, competitive in pricing, and improve its service and ease of shopping.

The pharmacy is always busy; that said, they do take the time to answer your questions and when possible, they try to get you the lowest price for your prescriptions. The rest of the store is easy to navigate; signs are posted for each aisle to make it easier to find what you're looking for.
