“I have been taking my dogs and cats to Dr Gonda since he opened his practice 20 plus years ago. He is an excellent Vet, and has a wonderful caring staff many of which have been working with him for many years. We have taken our two labs over the years, 2 yorkies and two cats. I highly recommend him .”

“i had my snake aquamated through moorpark vet, and all of the staff were incredibly accomodating and caring throughout the entire process. responses and callbacks were fast, and it took me just over 2 weeks to receive my ashes, which were thoughtfully packed along with a cute wooden plaque with my snake’s imprint on it and a certificate. the process was so smooth which really eased me, and i couldn’t recommend them enough.
the aquamation itself was done through peaceful pets aquamation, which is where moorpark vet does all of their aquamations, so i also absolutely recommend them as well.”
“I brought 3 of the kittens I fostered/rescued in hard-sided pet carriers to this location to be fixed. I waited until they were at least 4 months old so they don't develop any health issues later.
When I picked them up after their surgeries, they were groggy and seemed to have forgotten they were siblings. They were hissing at each other for a few days until the medication from the surgery was out of their system.
I separated the 3 in individual crates and used paper pellets for them to potty on (so it wouldn't stick to their incision sites). As days passed, one of the three kittens healed fine. One of the female kittens had liquid forming at the incision area (pouch-like) and and the male kitten's private was inflamed, which was worrisome.
I was told the liquid formed because she was active and moving around a lot (she was in a bigger crate). The male kitten didn't have a cone on and I was told it was due to him licking the incision site. The vet instructed me to put a cone on him; the inflammation eventually went away. I'd say both kittens took about 1-2 months for their incision areas to heal.
Overall, I had a good experience at this place. The price was affordable and the staff were very busy, but they were courteous and answered all my questions.”

They gave me the pricing for bloodwork and my pet had to have a lot of teeth removed in the pricing when that was also very inexpensive and they also gave him the greatest care took care of him and showed him a lot of compassion About this place and I think if you go there, you will be quite disappointed that it took this long to find a place good”

During the last six months of Butter’s life, Dr. Anderson treated him with such patience, gentleness, and genuine compassion. Every visit felt unhurried and thoughtful. “My labradoodle had 12 puppies and we had the unfortunate event that they contracted Parvo. I firmly believe that had I not taken them to Animal Hospital of Thousand Oaks very few of them would have survived. The care and compassion that I received from Dr. Safian and Dr. Bass was incredible!! They were able to work quickly to see all of the pups and created a treatment plan for me that was easy to follow. I found that these vets were most up-to-date on treatment protocols in the area and were incredibly helpful in explaining the whys behind their treatment. The staff was supportive and efficient. “Dr. Miller is the best and I would definitely recommend him to anyone seeking help for their fur babies. My fur baby was recently diagnosed with pyometra which is a life threatening condition. She was diagnosed at an emergency care clinic in Ventura which quoted me 10,000 for an emergency surgery. I was devastated and unsure of what to do, I called my sister who recommended Dr. Millers office. I called and Michelle the receptionist was very nice and helpful. Knowing that Dr.miller had a very tight schedule and was about to leave town, he still prioritized her emergency surgery and was able to do her surgery within that week. The price was also very reasonable, I am very grateful for Dr. Miller and all the staff that attended us, they are all very nice people who truly do care about our fur babies. Thank you so Dr. miller, you are a true hero! I will definitely be bringing my fur baby here from now on.”

“Dr. Slomowitz is truly one of a kind. She always shows so much compassion and patience, even when your pet decides not to cooperate—which was definitely Zelda yesterday! After several gentle tries, Casey was so patient when she called to talk through the best way to help her, and we decided on a little sedation. It worked beautifully. Zelda was able to get her full exam, bloodwork, urinalysis, weight check, and even her pedicure without getting additionally stressed or scared.
Every single person there makes the experience easier. Hannah and Rachel at the front desk are always so kind and welcoming. Gabi is an amazing vet tech, and Dr. Y has helped my other cats before—she’s just as wonderful and caring. Even though Clarissa and Dominique weren’t there this time, they’re both an important part of why I trust this whole team so much.
It’s such a relief knowing Zelda (and Troy) are in such good hands. You can really feel that they love what they do, and it shows in the way they treat every animal as if they were their own. I can’t recommend Dr. Slomowitz , Dr. Y and their team enough.”
