“First things first Jacob is the man and always takes AMAZING CARE of me i swear I’ve never felt so at home at any store, state and liberty will be where I get my suits and dress attire from now on I'm pretty built and tall so everything here actually fits me which isn’t common for me I usually have to get things custom made but not here a lot of it fits amazing off the rack. Jacob has gone above and beyond to help me design a great outfit for my elopement party! I’ll be back for my groomsmen and my wedding suit.”

“Sosa is the ?! He was a huge help when I needed a suit for my wedding on short notice. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to find something that fit well and looked sharp in time, but he made the whole process easy. He really listened to what I was going for and quickly pulled together a great option that felt like me.

You can tell he knows his stuff—he was honest about what worked and didn’t, and never made it feel like he was rushing just to get a sale. I left with something I felt confident in, and I’m really grateful for how smooth he made what could’ve been a stressful situation.

“I ordered a shirt online and received tracking and confirmation emails. The shirt I purchased is our team shirt in a golf tournament I'm playing in this week. When UPS wasn't updating their tracking and the shirt didn't arrive, I called customer service and spoke to Spencer. He was extremely helpful and went out of his way to investigate the lost order. He even called me back multiple times to update me on his progress. Ultimately UPS was unable to ever find this order and Spencer had another shirt expedited out to me so I would have it in time for our golf tournament. It is so unusual today to actually have customer service call back and follow up on issues. I was blown away by Spencer and his attention to this issue.”

“Shout out to the folks at Legend Coastal! They carry excellent products at fantastic prices and service to back it up. Shipped from sunny CA to Buffalo in 3 days. I had been searching for these Patagonia bags forever and google search results unfortunately had this store buried. I searched thru the Shop app and thankfullly these guys popped up at the top! So stoked on the product and the deal. They are going to be sweet mounted as a soft sided cabinet in my (work in progress) camper van. Colors are spot on!”

“I went to Macy’s Fashion Island recently and want to shout out an employee: Tamy (Fatima) Saleh, who went above and beyond to help me and my friend. We were at the point of being totally done shopping. We had been running around already for hours looking for pants for a wedding and Tami’s friendly demeanor and willingness to take care of us was truly refreshing. She saved us time and gave us the opportunity to spend the remaining time we had together since he was in from out of area; which made all the difference. Otherwise we would have had to keep driving around to other stores and Macy’s to find these pants. Take care of this woman, Macy’s, cause she’s definitely taking care of your customers and reputation. 10/10 on her.”

“We stopped into Buck Mason in Fashion Island, being only vaguely familiar with the brand. Two hours and a substantial purchase later, I have to applaud this store and staff for creating an unparalleled shopping experience.

It’s not often the staff of a retail store encapsulate the vibe of a brand; after meeting this crew, I’m confident this staff does exactly that. Warm, engaging, friendly without being contrived or saccharine, and each equally gorgeous and stylish, putting their own spin on the brand’s style in an aspirational way.

We worked mainly with Erik, the store manager. Erik was truly delightful; he met and read my husband’s fashion reticence and gave him ample space to try things on comfortably and without pressure, while always ready to grab a different size or recommend a different fit. Erik knew every detail about material, sizing, and fit and very quickly understood what we were interested in and looking for.

The culture of the store felt mature but cool, and they treated my teenage daughter with the same respect and warmth as they did me, the middle-aged mom.

We come to Newport Beach every year and a stop into the store will become tradition (until we get one in Salt Lake City… please!) I applaud the entire staff for cultivating such a happy memory for my family.”

“VERY COMFORTABLE CLOTHING ! My wife and I Iove this clothing brand...we have bought a swag of it at 2 different stores already. We had my wife's son in tow when we walked in here around 3pm on Saturday.......this is quite a small store compared to the others we have seen. VERY BUSY ! There were a lot of customers which made the store look even smaller. My wife was on a mission wanting to buy a couple of new Long-Sleeve Lux Crew ( long sleeve t-shirts ). They had just the one in Black Heather in my wife's small size...it looked great and my wife said it felt very comfortable. My wife also wanted one in Plum Heather but they had none. That will be a BUY ONLINE job along with another pair of Performance Joggers...long. I bought another Strato Tech Tee ( t-shirt ) in Navy Heather plus another pair of Fleet Joggers in Black. And we bought my wife's son a Strato Tech Tee in Charcoal Heather. REAL HELPFUL SERVICE ! One of the managers named Noah looked after us at the cashier desk. THE QUALITY IS FABULOUS !”

“I have found my new go-to swimsuit store! This store was so much fun to browse and try on swimsuits. The product is nicely displayed and organized throughout the store. They also have some casual clothing and accessories to choose from. The fitting room area is very nice and clean. The whole store was very clean! The lady working here was nice - she got me a fitting room and was helpful at checkout. The swimsuits are higher end brands of swimwear, so the prices can be higher depending on what brand/style you are getting. They have a sale section, where you can get a top and bottom for the price of one piece at retail price. By the end of the season, my swimsuits end up trashed from swimming and tanning between the California coast and the Phoenix sun, so I stuck with the sale section. Walked out with 2 brand new suits! I'll definitely be returning!”

Literally each person in there was so incredibly helpful with finding items, styling, and service. The store associate in the fitting room did such a thorough search and grabbed literally every skirt she could find to help me style my outfit. I so so appreciated it. The people up in the front were super kind & the cashier was also helping me find an item online in different colors and sizes. Everyone was all around so supportive and the kindness is unmatched. From now on if I ever need to go to Urban I’m heading to this location. You guys made my day! Thank you thank you!!!”

“I have been a customer of Shinobi for quite sometime now. I am surprised to see a few negative reviews. That being said, everyone is of course entitled to their own opinions and assessment of what they deem to be a good experience.Its been a while and I cannot remember when my relationship as a customer begin. I do recall that my very first visit was one that just had me looking at all of the "high end" brands and was impressed that a store had a well balanced inventory of brands from affordable to the higher end.I recall asking questions, and trying on different pieces of clothing. The whole time I was met with patience and great customer service. Fast forward to today, and that same service has extended itself from one purchase to another, special orders as well.Ownership as I know it with Asher and Aaron, has been great. They strive to keep a great store with competitive brands and a consistent flow of new inventory. The store exudes class and I have been in many times to observe how customers are greeted and treated, and some of these reviews just do not make sense.I also, acknowledge that their return policy has its limitations. However, I also believe that, if one as a customer can understand that Shinobi is not a big brand retailer such as Nordstrom, then we can begin to understand that they may not have that flexibility to extend their policy's accordingly.I hope that this review can shed some of but the great service and experience this store offers. Josiah, and Monty as well as other employees have always treated me with respect. I hope that anyone reading drops in and takes a look at a great store that Asher and Aaron have going.”

The salesperson "John" and tailors at that location have always been very helpful and friendly.
