Really nice people put out of work by the emergence of Dollar General The previous reviewer's comments from 2023 are a pack of lies, this is a Husband and wife team that I know well and the wife is a very proper Indian lady who would never stare at someone's buttocks and make suggestive comments. There's always a narcissistic drama queen in every crowd.”

“prices get a beating when you use your club card which is free to everyone, I especially like the buy two get 3 offers usually on soda and meat that has gone astronomical, you still get discounts with your card and when meats on sale I buy in bulk”
“As I was paying for my items, a customer (who had already finished paying for his items and had left the store) came storming into the store, red faced, cussing and yelling at the cashier about a transient in the parking area that was apparently bothering him and his girlfriend. The cashier maintained a calm but interested demeanor, but when he began to speak, the customer cut him off, yelling obscenities as he stomped out the door, got into his car (still cussing and carrying on), and drove around the entire parkinglot to the other side of the property where this transient person was and proceeded to verbally attack him.While I understand the guy was frustrated, and obviously offended by something, he was rude, and put no effort into trying to solve anything. He was demanding a level of respect that he himself was not willing (or able) to give..Pat on the back to the cashier - he definatley earned my respect, and I will return here because of that.”

“The only reason I am giving 4 stars is bc prices are high. As a local, I could use more sales. I could use a better organic produce/fruit section too. But it's clean, staff is local, I know them, they know me, the manager is good (the store improved a LOT under this management), and the solar panels are nice in the parking lot but they seem to have shooed the birds away that I loved. It goes to show, those things aren't healthy. Also, prices did not go down after the panels went up, even though they must be saving a good buck by using solar. I love the trees outside in spring when they bloom. They could plant more trees, maybe? Oh, I almost forgot to talk about the products. It's good. I find anything I need and if not, they will order. If you like alcohol, that's your place.”
“Still the absolute quality groceries in the Northern Counties in NorCal. The key to Safeway is shopping their sales. Groceries offers shift about every 10 days. I will rarely pay full price. Also in Lake County the Lakeport Safeway is top quality. Super Bowl 5$ Friday lines were long, but normal for a Friday afternoon. Today was a 10.?”

“Well, there's a Dollar General about 1/4 mile away and considering I do most of my shopping here and it is so much better of a store than in the Oaks, you just feel like you could spend all day in here, way better a store, I give a 6 out of 10 to the Oaks and 9 out of 10 to Nice, it's just like that, anyway if you haven't been here, try it, it will not disappoint..
Just try it and I guarantee it, you will change your store!!
