“I was recommended Carole Kenney for my wedding dress alteration specifically because my dress is extremely complicated. Carole went absolutely above and beyond. She is an expert at alterations and dress design. She was incredibly knowledgable and knew exactly what to do fit my dress perfectly. She created me a bustle system for my heavy train and even made me a super adorable clutch made out of the leftover pieces of my dress that were removed to shorten the length. Her attention to detail and depth of understanding of complex dress design is incredibly impressive. I would not have trusted my dress with anyone else.

Carole also assisted my mom with her mother-of-the-bride dress. She was very kind to us over the course of the months that we worked with her. I could not recommend her enough, especially brides who are wanting to alter a Rue De Seine gown.”

When I was searching for my wedding dress, stylist Erin was incredible: thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping me find something that felt like me. Although I ultimately purchased my gown out of state, I returned later to have my dress preserved, and once again, the experience exceeded expectations. “I’ve been to their San deigo & Sacramento store, I don’t remember any of their names but the lady in San Diego was great, very helpful with picking new dresses for me & giving estimates on tailoring & she even told us if she thought it was worth it or not to purchase with the damages or buy new. The lady in Sacramento was busy on the phone with someone but it was nice to shop around by myself & she did check in with me to make sure everything was alright. Overall the shopping experience at both stores was lovely.”

I visited her shop three different times and was probably her most indecisive customer, I went back and forth between multiple dresses before finally choosing the one. Through it all, Anna was patient, supportive, and never once made me feel rushed or pressured.

“10 out of 10! Highly recommend if you are in need of someone to alter your wedding dress. I got married last November and Carla was so great. She did an amazing job on hemming the bottom of my dress so it barely hit the floor and she made the upper part of my dress feel so much more comfortable. Best of all, she did a wonderful job on adding a bustle to my dress. I got so many complements on how my dress looked and it was all because of Carla. Not only did she walk me through the process but she explained what she was going to do and took time to show me how to get the bustle looking great. And she took on my alterations even through my wedding was one month away so I highly recommend that you bring it in sooner than I did but Carla was so kind considering my timeline.”

“Went in with my sister last month to look for her quince dress and staff was super helpful. Unlike other places, they took their time with us and helped even though we didn’t have an appointment. They took us in and helped my sister find her perfect dress. She tried on different styles, colors and sizes. The girls who helped us were giving us their opinions based on what they know and we found it super helpful. I believe the girl who helped her try on dresses was Sayrah (not sure if spelling is correct) & the girl who helped us checkout was Andrea ! They didn’t have my sisters size in store but they placed the order & it came in quickly! All the staff was very nice and attentive which is greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place! Definitely recommend having an appointment though so you can get the full experience?”

“I normally don’t write reviews but I just HAVE to for this! I never knew about this place until I was looking for a senior ball dress. This store had so much options of dresses in all colors. The customer service stood out to me the most, I felt so comfortable and great in all dresses. I expected to only try a few dresses, but ended up trying 5+ dresses. After trying on each dress, the ladies gave advice for alterations and options for other colors. Even after driving for hours other stores, nothing topped in selections and customer service! Coming back the next day, I chose my dress and absolutely love it. This place is worth supporting and finding the perfect dress! There’s nothing I would chance about this experience :)”

“Great experience at Ethnic Bollywood. Finding men’s Indian clothing in Sacramento, especially last minute, can be tough but this place made it easy. The owner was warm, welcoming, and really helpful with sizing and fit, even while juggling other customers. You can tell she cares.

Nice selection, especially for men. I’d recommend coming here first.

Also, I’d skip Little India Designer Studio. The owner there is rude and it’s not worth the experience.”
