3. Buy tickets online from the Calendar page of Thesholdla.org
- Cash or Card may not always be accepted by the Doorkeeper.
- Door closes 2 hours before event ends, usually at midnight for events spanning 9pm-2am, plan accordingly.

4. Bring your own equipment (membership provides access to the facility only, may not include tools/utensils/gear for specific needs).

5. No inebriation offered nor permitted (come with your senses undulled and unsullied).
- Respect the rules and guidance from the volunteer DMs and staff for optimal enjoyment.

6. Volunteer Orchestrated & Curated Events (professionals not provided as part of the experience),

Threshold is unlike any of the rival facilities of LA, where the event price may vary according to the offerings of the event, such as reduced scale/scope, limiting of the available floor space, or the provisioning of hired hands and industry professionals.

This is a member's haven intended for building community and memories. You get out of Threshold what you put into it, Respect should always be at the forefront of your (re)actions.

Free parking may be depleted during popular event gatherings, arrive on time.

“After struggling with addiction for a decade, I finally found solid long term sobriety at Chandler Lodge. This place is the real deal. A great place to re-build your life with the security and fellowship I needed to succeed. They have a meeting hall on the property with numerous meetings every day, lots of 'old-timers' to learn from, and ample free food included in the reasonable rent. I especially liked the 24/7 management on property that gave me a sense of security and well-being. I highly recommend this sober living if you're serious about recovery and changing your life for the good. They also have great resources for jobs, help with legal issues, and the managers all have solid recovery.

“I have been with ETTA for almost 8 years. I have been 3 other programs like ETTA. I would say there is no comparison. They are always coming up with new programs so that there clients have place for growth. Since I have been there they have added over 4 new programs. I started off in the day program and am now working a full time job and supporting my self. I have only about 8 hours of service a week. If you are looking a job or place for some with special needs, look no further. This is the best place to be involved with.”

“Excellent thrift store. Quality merchandise, well-organized and run.

Their furniture selection is especially high-quality, impressive and a good value (not cheap but worth it).

The only thing that keeps it from getting 🖐🏻 ⭐ is that in the last year the prices at the discovery shops have shot way up.

I understand that for rare designer items, but for everyday things it's less of a value than it used to be and that's unfortunate.

Still, it's a fun place to look, and occasionally you can find a deal on other things.”

They helped my mom and myself to become citizens and helped to bring my brother, sister and nephew from El Salvador!

“I would like to take the time to express my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude that I received from Hope The Mission. Approximately 30 days ago I was totally crestfallen, because I had a major financial setback that had me on the verge of becoming homeless. Nonetheless, I reached out to Hope The Mission on Tyrone/Victory Blvd. located in San Fernando Valley, and they provided the hope that I needed. With that being said, Mrs. Kay, Mrs. Kimberly and Mrs. Liz advocated to assist me with my rental expenses. I've always said, it takes a Village to assist with a crisis, and they were that Village that came to my rescue. Notwithstanding, thank you Mrs. Kay for being a conduit that lead to Mrs. Kimberly P. and Mrs. Liz V., because without their tenacious spirit and incessant drive, I would not have been approved for assistance. You all were a raw, uncut and polished Gem that exuded and illustrated a ray of hope and light that will forever shine. Again, thanks a million times over for all of you guy's support. “Great place I really appreciate everything they have done for me so far I'm waiting to get into a shelter preferably a tiny home or a room key project but I will appreciate anything that I'm helped out with waiting patiently is key to all those out there don't lose hope.”

“Apparently things at Carriage Hope have changed dramatically for the better since the time of earlier reviews. Having had pretty bad experiences at local Salvation Armies and Goodwills, I decided to stop here to drop off a boatload of donations accumulated over the past year or two. The lady at the front desk was super nice, briefly peeked into some of my bags to determine whether she could use the items in the store, accepted everything, and helped me carry it all in. Then I walked through the store, which was extraordinarily well organized; it was easy to walk down the aisles and find things. Everything was neat and tidy (some other ladies were cleaning and dusting items) with no musty or (worse) cheap detergent smell. I even found some 100% cotton flannel PJ bottoms, which have become my go-to item to look for in thrift shops. Items are not individually priced with stickers or tags, but there's a price list posted next to the front door and they recommend taking a photo of it to consult while shopping. All-in-all, great experience.”

“Not all Goodwill stores will take all types of donations so I really like this donation center. I like that I don't have to explain everything that's in every bag and that they will know how to process all different kinds of donations.”
