“Cons: $50 parking per day, even with a booked room. One would think it's included.
No dedicated playground/area for kids I only say this because the vicinity to universal studios and advertised as such.
Value: some Food items price are unjust i.e. the lobster roll for $29 had no chunks of lobster. Service was slow only 1 person working the center courtyard. Long wait for water, drinks, and check.
Room service: Timing on room service could be better. I took the shuttle to Universal at 9am and returned 230pm for an afternoon nap expecting the room to be cleaned while out it did not happen could be a staffing issue. This was a Tuesday.

Pros: Location, shuttle service to universal, ambiance, and the inside door lock that's out of kids reach if you have little one that likes to play with the door.

Pro tip: while dining in the center courtyard either go fully clothed or wear mosquito spray, I swear they're invisible. You'll find bite marks while in the shower.
Double check your credit card statement before leaving, I was charged twice for the same dinner.

I'm not writing this review as knock on them just constructive feedback to boost guest experience to exceptional levels. I would definitely stay again just without a car.”

“Room was clean and very well put together. The shower and bathtub wete huge and the tub had jets snd the beds were more comfortable than any other hotel room i ever stayed at. Snother bonus for me was the hardwood floors🤩. Carpeted hotels gross me out.”

“Staff was VERY accommodating...especially that I was vacationing with my family and I have a special needs grandson who wanted to stay in the dining room a little longer.

Also our 2 rooms were kept neat”

“SOK its missin more flat screen tvs but other then that? This place is quiet, helpful friendly staff, clean. And privacy is very natural, no one invades your life but only to greet zzz”

“3-star Best Western Plus is my personal standard of care, but I wanted a motel near the airport so I stayed here for one night with my wife. It was less than 10 minutes to the rental car return building. We stayed in room 302 on 05/02/2026. Checking in and out was easy. The young man at the front desk was very polite and pleasant as if working at a 5 star hotel. This branch looked a little dated all over, but thanks to the housekeeping staff our room was extremely clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept through the night like a baby. Added value: I made my own fresh waffle for breakfast. They had hard-boiled eggs, ham omelets, DYI oat cereal, juices, and coffee. That is $20 per person value. This is a 2 star hotel but it deserves a 5 star rating in it's class. The only issue is street noise until about 10 pm as our room faced the street. There was a big party at the entrance. I notified the front desk, and the drum stopped. The immediate neighbor seems to be an industrial area, and it is not a place to walk around. Parking spaces were on the ground floor, under the rooms, passing the front office, so it was safe. I would definitely come again if I have any business in the northern LA area. If you desire the a noiseless room ask for a room away from the street. My brother-in-law's room was facing the back and he had a quiet night.”

“Had a nice time here, been here a few times and never a problem. No nasty looks or comments being a single girl checking in. Room was fine, no complaints. Clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. Shower had good head room, which I like. Area is near 2 busy streets where a girl can go out and meet people. It's near a cute bar and a raising canes chicken place, So if you are a girl, you can't go wrong here. I do recommended 2nd floor rooms, away from the elevator.”

“This hotel was clean and comfortable. It’s close to Universal Studios, which is why we stayed there. It’s old and shabby, for sure, so don’t be surprised by that. But we had a pleasant stay. The staff was very nice and helpful. The pool was nice, we went for a swim while we were there. The hot tub wasn’t working though. The breakfast is just coffee / drinks and granola / breakfast bars. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. We were charged for parking, I believe $10 per day. It’s on a busy street but there was no problem with noise and we slept well. I have no complaints, got a good price and had a nice stay.”

“So I want to start by saying that it pays to be nice. We stayed on friday the 10th through Monday and the gentleman at the front desk could not have been nicer. He was dealing with a not so nice customer before us but still greeted us with a smile and even waived the 100.00 hold as we were just as nice and understanding as he was.. the rooms are a tad out dated but it was quiet. The rooms had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was good. Bagels and cereal, and coffee. Only down side is i left my most valuable possession I bring everywhere and that was my pillow... oh well.. I would stay here again if I ever visit. Thank you kind sir at the front desk. You had a beautiful smile.and made our check in very pleasant.”
