“Went here looking for Djarum cigars. When I walked in the smell of yummy authentic Mexican food filled my senses. I asked the clerk what her favorite is. She told me but I couldn't pronounce it well enough so she put the order in for me. I only purchased one and when I got home I wished I ordered 2 so so good!! Coming back with friends next time ❤Oh and good prices on nice wine. 🍷”
“The staff here are just wonderful. Always friendly and when I recently had a concern regarding safety (nothing to do with the store but happening in parking lot), the staff didn’t hesitate to swiftly take action (which was so unnecessary but just shows how wonderful they are)! Always find great stuff at great prices. I truly hope management knows how wonderful their staff are !!”

“I come here all the time and I find it's cheaper than Stater Brothers. I've been satisfied with most of the products at Vons but the bakery goods. Every time I buy something that's packaged on the floor it's not very good. I recently bought the chocolate chip muffins for my husband, found that they're more like a lump of coal which I can only guess that's how coal taste as well. It was hard and had a horrible taste. I've bought cookies as well and other products, and they all have let me down. Again this is the package goods that are on the displayed by the bakery not what you get from the bakery case.”

“Great store but mainly what keeps me coming back is Angel’s customer service. She is so kind, patient, and genuine to every customer that comes down her check lane. She takes the time to bag items accordingly and always has a hand full of jokes and endless smiles to pass along. I will gladly wait in the longest line just to get a quick chat with her that leaves my day brighter than it was when I got there. You don’t get paid to be nice, you get paid to show up and do the required duties and hours - she goes above and beyond every time”

“Excellent Eastern European selection of cold cuts i.e. sausages, salami, wieners, smoked pork belly. Sour kraut leaves, grape leaves, many canned, pickled Eastern European vegetables, cheese etc. the prices are the lowest I have seen for this type of food. I travel an over an hour from Temecula to shop here. Highly recommend it for variety, quality and price.”
“Starter Bros. Is my go to store. I can shop at a store that's closer to me but I prefer to go to Staters. The only disappointment is some of the cashier's don't great you or they might be having a bad day that they do not make you feel welcome. Other than that most everyone else is friendly and I that makes me feel pretty good. ?”
“Best carne asada tacos in the valley in my opinion. Always stop by when in the city! Very well sized tacos with double tortilla. They are not stingy with the meat; these tacos are huge. I’m 6’ 290lbs I easily get filled with 2 or 3! Also try the buche; very good!”

“LET ME TELL YA, ? I have been going to this little market for the last 23 years. They have a little of everything . Quick n fast, boom in and out. Cashiers are pleasant, especially the lady that works there, is such a sweetheart, always happy, makes me happier. Haha! I love this place, convenient and close by. I don't Have to go all the way down the Hill to get anything. It's right there, save me a lot.”

“Excellent wine tasting! They have very friendly staff who talked to us through the world of Argentinian wines. We could order glasses of different wines even if the bottle wasn't opened yet. Excellent service. The Chardonnay and White Zinfandel were the best we could find in here so far. We totally recommend this place if you look for good wine!”

“Funky little place that makes the most wonderful date shakes. That's why we go. It can be very busy as they also make tasty sandwiches, but they do a good job of serving fairly quickly.
Vegetarian options: Just a couple good vegetarian options but they will custom make a sandwich.
Parking: Not far off the I-10 north of Palm Springs.”
