I got rear bumper scratched by someone who wants to pay me to fix without involving Insurance company.
He was old gentleman who was honest enough to leave a note on my dashboard while I was in costco shopping.
So I did went to Tesla certified auto bodyahop (Fix auto) and their estimate was 3500 dollars!
Even if I am not paying out of my pocket, It sounded too much for my damage.
So I did ask if I can use regular bodyshop on AI fixing Tesla.
It turnd out without involving any camera or sensor issues, any auto bodyshop was okay to use.
and Ai introduced several shops based on reviews amd Legacy Auto was 2nd best shop! ( first one was Fix auto boo!)
and Guess what! Legacy owner saw the damageand call 800 dollars only!! ( compared with $3351)
It took 4 days and came out so beautiful and flawless!
I am spreading the words to any tesla owner who has body damages to consider to go to Legacy auto body shop!!!”
