“First time doing business here and it went smooth. I sold some graded baseball cards and the owner gave me a fair deal. Many shops will brush you off, but here I felt as if he treats everyone equally and takes the time to check out what you have. There's also a good variety of cards, figures, memorabilia, art, etc. Prices are very good here for individual and/or boxes.”
“I was here last weekend for the PSA event, and this place was solid. It’s more than just a regular comic shop. They have comics, toys, TCG stuff, and enough space to actually host events without it feeling thrown together. The shop had a good collector vibe, and it felt like a place built for people who are really into the hobby, not just casual browsing.
The PSA event was the main reason I went, and I appreciated having something like that available locally instead of having to deal with everything by mail. Overall, cool shop, good setup, and definitely a place I’d come back to for comics, cards, or future events.”

“As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series and SERA Archives thriller novels, I always enjoy visiting standout bookstores, and Barnes & Noble in Calabasas at The Commons is a beautiful location.
The store has a strong two-story design with escalators leading up to the second level. The layout feels open and inviting, with a warm interior that makes it easy to settle in and spend time browsing.
One of the standout features is the manga section. It’s large and well stocked, and it really draws attention when you walk through. The mystery and thriller wall is also nicely set up, with a good range of titles and a clean presentation.
The café is a great space, with a mural of famous authors that adds character and makes it a comfortable place to sit and read. I always enjoy seeing my own book on the shelf here, which adds a personal touch to the visit.
The surrounding Commons area is upscale and well maintained, and parking is fairly easy with plenty of space available.
I also spent some time in the romance section while working on The Maui Desire Romance Series, and it’s a well-organized area that fits nicely alongside the rest of the store.
Overall, it’s a bright, welcoming Barnes & Noble in Calabasas with a great layout, strong selection, and a comfortable atmosphere that makes it easy to come back.”
“I initially stopped by Silver Sky International just to grab string replacements for my bracelet, but I’m so glad I did. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about gemstones and healing crystals. He took the time to help me and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable.
The quality here is excellent — everything feels real and authentic. I walked out with three beautiful high-grade AA gemstone bracelets for only $25. That’s an outstanding value. Whether you’re looking for beads, findings, sterling silver, or powerful healing stones, this shop delivers.

“My son comes for Pokémon cards and it’s the highlight of his day. Every day we drove by and saw the sad note of the passing of the previous owner. We weren’t sure what was gonna happen. It’s hard to find companies that are genuine and serve their communities. We were delightfully surprised to see that the strong management is continuing. I was teaching him the value of money, and the staff was very attentive and supportive. We liked the little tribute in the corner to the old owner and it appears the staff is in good hands. I would highly recommend if you’re doing something in this arena. Come on by and check them out.”

I can’t tell you how unbelievably fun it was to spend time drifting around the stores looking at everything🥰 Diane Helped me and she went above and beyond with sizing, and she strung all the beads for me - 100% worth it! It took me an hour to get there , I don’t care. I’m gonna go back again.☺”

“Good selection of r/c stuff, and a decent inventory of Moto gear. My friend got an excellent deal on an Associated truck here the other day. There's definitely lots to look at here, with some very trick custom builds they have as well. Owner is very cool, knows his stuff, and was friendly. Also, they have a lot of parts in stock, and his prices are great. I was particularly happy to see how much Red-Cat racing parts they have. Will definitely be going back. Neat shop for sure.”
