“Just randomly stopped by here the other day and it was super cool! I got my new year candle burning and praying for great things. Thinking about going back for a reading! Please note : only cash”
“Honestly, it’s a great shop that has a wide variety of things for any hobbyist whether for tools or model kits. This shop has it. The staff here is great and I love turning this place into one of my local shop for Gunpla.”
“I recently visited Smith Brothers Hobby Center and had a fantastic experience.
David was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the selection of a remote control and accessories for my Tamiya RC car.
His knowledge and expertise were greatly appreciated, and I'm thankful for his assistance.
The store itself offers a wide range of hobby-related products, and the staff are friendly and approachable.
Overall, Smith Brothers Hobby Center provides excellent customer service and is a great destination for hobby enthusiasts.”
“I have a few friends that are very well and psychic mediums and wiccans and they suggested for me to come in here to look for herbs crystals and also incense to help me with some groceries medical issues I haven't used what I bought yet but I plan to within a few days this is a very fun and interesting store”
“One of the best automotive museums in the world. The collections change often so worth going back a few times per year. Parking is expensive ($21) in the garage.”
“Ok. So this place has a lot of cars. The prices are higher than like a swap meet but it's a business. He has overhead.
Claims there isn't that much markup in stuff but a guy asked for what was about a 15% discount and was told there was no wiggle room and ended up paying the asking price. Small. Intimate. And he has his own collection on the pegs.
If that's true he probably should be buying them for cheaper. It's a reseller's market. And he's not about turning inventory. It's a really nice collection to browse. But 20 bucks for a mainline is lost on me. 8 to 10 dollars for peg warmers.”
“I was here last weekend for the PSA event, and this place was solid. It’s more than just a regular comic shop. They have comics, toys, TCG stuff, and enough space to actually host events without it feeling thrown together. The shop had a good collector vibe, and it felt like a place built for people who are really into the hobby, not just casual browsing.
The PSA event was the main reason I went, and I appreciated having something like that available locally instead of having to deal with everything by mail. Overall, cool shop, good setup, and definitely a place I’d come back to for comics, cards, or future events.”
“I have been here many times over the years and it's always fun. This last time I needed something specific and rather than searching I asked and the person working found multiple options for me right away. Thanks!”
“this is definitely one of the best RC shops. They have all kinds of cars and brands like traxxas and arrma. I went there to turn my traxxas rustler into an FPV RC car by using an FPV drone camera and mounting it onto the car and Armand was very helpful and nice. The customer service is outstanding i highly recommend this place.”
“Mega City One is amazing!! It may not look like much from the outside, but if you love comic books like me, it has mostly EVERYTHING you are looking for to meet your regular comic book fixes!! I've been going to this store for years and they rarely let me down. The owner and JON who's runs the store are incredible and have a wealth full of knowledge. Beyond that, they will go to the extra mile to make sure that your comic book needs are fullfied and you and your needs are fully taken care of. Also, Mega City One far exceeds their closest competition, that "Rotten Apple" place down the street! Forever, for me, Comic Books have always stood for "Truth, Justice and the American Way!" When I visit Mega City One, I feel like I'm stepping into the Daily Planet where hidden greatness can be found. They are so much better than President's Lex Luther's villains lair down the street. Can't recommend Mega City One's excellent customer service enough! They will take care of you and you will NOT ever be disappointed!!”

“10 STARS IF I COULD!!! Excellent card and collectibles store — I had the best time here for their Riftbound Prerelease event. The staff is exceptionally friendly and professional. The store is really clean and has a great selection of products :)”
“This place has EVERYTHING! As soon as you step in, there are jewels, crystals, beads, and tools as far as the eye can see. It’s like a treasure wonderland in there. Of course, such a wide selection can leave you feeling a bit lost which is where the customer service comes in.
I was fortunate to be helped by a very lovely lady who helped me find everything I needed. She has knowledge and expertise, and was able to give me insight into what sizes I needed for crimp beads and jump rings. She even showed me beautiful necklaces that she had made herself, which showcased her skill. I asked her about how wire protectors work, and she took the time to draw me a diagram to show me how they work! It was an act of kindness that I appreciate so much, and just speaks to the level of customer care that they provide. I will definitely be back”
“Such an awesome place. Go in and meet the owner, what a talented humble and generous guy. Tons of beautiful handmade leather art pieces. Great products tools and wide selection of leather.”
“I really got lucky finding this store. I had been looking for over a month.I was looking to buy a good pen and this place worked out perfect! Everything you need is here.I said ‘yes’ as soon as I saw the fully equipped store.I think we need more stores like this one in all LA.So many other wonderful things in this place. “Fantastic! A gem of a place to make the highest quality products. But be aware! Take your time. Warping in the molds can cause major problems. So ask careful questions and get more opinions than one, as each material is very specific. You can also call them or there are tons of resources online.
Be very aware with shrinking in mold materials, especially if using latex. It greatly shrinks, especially if molding large objects. I lost weeks of work to learn this by mistake. Here’s a few molds for a client, now it’s scrap! Remaking with Brush-on material. Brush-on also shrinks, especially when adding thicker types of brush-on series with thinner types (ie. brush-on 35 with 40) for added strength.”

“My son comes for Pokémon cards and it’s the highlight of his day. Every day we drove by and saw the sad note of the passing of the previous owner. We weren’t sure what was gonna happen. It’s hard to find companies that are genuine and serve their communities. We were delightfully surprised to see that the strong management is continuing. I was teaching him the value of money, and the staff was very attentive and supportive. We liked the little tribute in the corner to the old owner and it appears the staff is in good hands. I would highly recommend if you’re doing something in this arena. Come on by and check them out.”
“I'm thinking about telling my parents to take me to the store I saw some videos I will give you all five stars and I hope to see you there we're brand new clients”
“Stopped by Sports Source in Studio City and had a great experience. Super friendly, easygoing service, and they even gave me a free calendar on the way out. Little gestures like that go a long way. Solid local shop — I’ll definitely be back.”
“Great energy and friendly staff. Games are at retail price or higher and this location has fewer board games, but it’s a nice store and they have a decent section.”
“I love coming to Fire&Dice for Pokemon tournaments. The staff is always extremely friendly and accommodating! Their new location feels spacious without being overwhelming. Highly recommend if you are looking for Pokemon/Magic/etc cards.”
“Really nice store, lots of different genres of games TTRPG, TCG, board games, and minis and lots of paints some citadel and also Vallejo brand colors and primers and brushes also. Went on a Sunday and noticed lots of people playing some mtg and yu gi oh also couple guys doing some Warhammer so it's definitely a popular place to chill.”
“I've come here a few times to play cards. Since they don't charge us to use a table I always buy a pack or 2 or something. I always get great pulls from here too. Idk how they do it”

“Needed help answering some questions about a baseball player from the early 2000s named Derrek Lee so I called this place. I was super impressed with him knowing about a baseball player from the 90s early 2000s. This baseball players dad played in Japan and he grew up and went to grade school in Japan. I was confused on the regulation and “World Baseball Classic” eligibility and he knew EVERYTHING. I really needed it explained to me, I like to understand the rules and regulations even if I’m not a baseball player or collector. Thanks for helping me understand my retro video game and clarifying that he is in fact able to play for the world baseball classic Team Japan.”

“First time doing business here and it went smooth. I sold some graded baseball cards and the owner gave me a fair deal. Many shops will brush you off, but here I felt as if he treats everyone equally and takes the time to check out what you have. There's also a good variety of cards, figures, memorabilia, art, etc. Prices are very good here for individual and/or boxes.”
“A good comic book and collectables store on city walk. It is mostly geared to marvel and DC products but they do have a good range of other genres aswell, including horror and loads of funko pops and some good shirts. A decent sized store, was fairly quiet despite city walk being busy and service was all good.”
“Got in there got what I needed and came out maybe I went in at a really good time store was clean it was cool Not a lot of shoppers at the time customer service was friendly Service was quick.”
“As an artist I use the framing services of Hobby Lobby Burbank. The employees there are very kind and helpful. They give excellent service. I often work with Patricia and Justin. I can’t thank them enough!”
“Picked up a great deal on a Japanese keychain here, plus love the Squishmallow and Beanie Babies selection. Wait time to checkout could use a little improvement (I think they need more staff) but I don't feel it warrants removing a star ?”
“Wow.. Amazing work on my matting for my diamond painting... Olivia was so patient with me to choose the colors I wanted for matting... I also couldn't decide on which frame to go with, she was so helpful with that! The diamond painting picture came out amazingly professional looking and absolutely gorgeous! As I told Olivia, I feel like it's Christmas day as she was unwrapping the brown paper to show me the end result... Needless to say... I highly recommend Michael's store for your framing needs and, if, you can get Olivia she is the golden nugget there and what a bonus! Thank you Olivia! And the staff that did the cutting for the matting... I am grateful! ? ❤️”
“This is my 2 son’s favorite card shop. The people that work there are so friendly and caring. They go out of their way to give my kids an incredible experience. They are also very knowledgeable and have awesome cards. Highly recommend !!”
