“I use to go to this market all the time as a kid, way before they upgraded it and added a restaurant behind it. The new look is great, the prices however have seen better days. For example, $12 for a case of water.
However, the store offers a great deal of variety and the cashiers are nice enough.”

“Definitely the best carne asada around. Seasoned nicely, they also offer a spicier version. Meat is so tender no struggle w chewy meat. This is a Mexican market that sells no cerveza though. Yet they have all the mixes and cups for micheladas. You'll have to still stop elsewhere. But the meat is a must try.”

“I really like this stater brothers. I went in to the deli today and Katie was really helpful and courteous, although one of the cashiers is very rude her name is Jordyn. Do not go through her register or ask her for help. Her customer service is terrible. Everyone else there is very nice.”
“Stopped in to pick up lunch and found a great deal on a chicken meal. 8 pieces of chicken, a pound of potatoes and four pack roll of Hawaiian rolls for $14.99. The clerk at the service deli was extremely courteous. I also purchased an already made Italian sub sandwich that was delicious! The store was very clean, and well stocked. The aisles in this store are very roomy. Checkout in the Express lane was very quick and the clerk was very pleasant as well. Super nice store!”
“I love having a local Asian market. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. Keep in mind it's a small neighborhood store so you're gonna find a lot of basics. If you're looking for something very special out of the ordinary, you may not find it there. But the store owners seems to be very accommodating if you ask for something. “I almost don't want to post this but Canyon Lake Market is the local little hidden gem. The ladies at the sandwich/burrito counter are awesome. They are ALWAYS there and friendly (really all the staff is friendly). It's a tiny market but they seem to have everything we are looking for. The burritos are the bomb and HUGE!!!! Definitely worth a trip if you haven’t shopped here. Oh! The meats are great too.”
