“Store was gigantic! My only issue that they must have moved the section signs around recently, because the titles didn't match the section. Because of that some areas were hard to find, and some not even labeled, and even some covered in dust. Also, very long line to checkout (but I don't mind that, it's great to see bookstores doing well.”

“Such a fun, cute shop! There are lots of beautiful crystals, books and jewelry, as well as psychic readings if that's your jam. Scott the owner is super knowledgeable about rocks and gems and can explain how they grow and where each stone is from. He is also wonderful to chat with and very friendly. “this is the college that i would have enjoyed spending 7 years or more just for the joy of daydreaming in class while looking out the window toward the super blue pacific ocean. after visiting the west la. campus. we hit the malibu campus and wow why would anyone be in a hurry to graduate. the campus is huge with a bunch of small buildings housing the many classrooms and other offices and dorms . went to the book store but i aint getting books but i am getting shirts and hoodies with the pepperdine label. my cuz and i was able to do our own private tour which included watching cheerleaders practice which we found very interesting and enjoyable. the views of the ocean and the scenic valley with palm trees all around is worth a years tuition. even with its beautiful grounds pepperdine is a top notch school on the west coast and any college that had tia and tamara (sister sister) as students is cool with me.”

“Delighted that Malibu Village Books has opened at Cross Creek. For those of us in the Palisades and Malibu, the trek for a bookstore had been long and hard. But our problems are now solved! Malibu Village books has a beautiful selection of current fiction, nonfiction and gift or art books. The space is bright, clean and tasteful, thoughtfully laid out. The manager Laura is gracious and welcoming. Beautiful selection of premium wrapping paper, ample parking, overall a great experience. I can't wait to return!”
