“We stayed for a night before heading into Yosemite. This was a fantastic little spot, tucked away by the river. The onsite bar had live music and was a great vibe.”

“If you're visiting Yosemite and prioritizing value and top-notch service over being right next door, check out the Yosemite South Gate Hotel!
This charming, small boutique hotel is about 45 miles from Tunnel View, but the cost-effective price is absolutely worth the drive. We loved the incredibly friendly staff and the good amenities. The only area for improvement is the breakfast—it could use an upgrade to match the hotel’s high standards!
Overall, a fantastic, budget-smart base for park adventures. Highly recommended!

“Great place to stay when visiting Yosemite. The lodge is sorrounded by nature, well furnished, and extra clean. Eddy is a super host, very passionate about Yosemite, and eager to give you tips for making the most out of your stay at the park. Thank you Eddy for everything and I hope to be your guest again when I come back for the half dome hike ?”

“Great place to stay, large clean rooms hotel well staffed and very modern. Staff friendly and courteous, I recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a good place to stay while in Oakhurst or on their way to visit Yosemite. Why worry about the crowds and limited reservations at camp sites or other lodging in Yosemite Valley. Just stay in Oakhurst and drive into the park for your hiking and river fun, and exit back to great food in Oakhurst and a soft bed at Fairfield Inn. Trust me let the "tourists" deal with the Yosemite crowds you'll be enjoying the good life in crowd free Oakhurst. ?
Enjoy ?

“We checked in late evening for one night. Receptionist was friendly. We had two queen beds on the ground floor which was handy for bringing in cases. No plug for the bath so showered our son. Basic but clean bathroom with big counter space. Also had a fridge, microwave, coffee machine and hair dryer. Good for one night on the way to Yosemite. We were offered breakfast free but didn't have time. We would stay here again.”

“The location of hotel is close to the entrance of Yosemite which is a good thing.
The room is ok, if you have a group of 3+ people you are probably going to be in the second or third floor of the hotel. (They don't have elevators so you need to take the stairs. The bath and toilet area are small.

The breakfast is really poor, just bread, and some spreads, coffee and juice and a fruit. You'll need to do groceries definetly.

The staff was ok, nothing good or bad to say about it.”
