“I passed through here a couple weeks ago and loved it! It was probably the most welcoming church I’ve ever been to (even on my walk in from the parking lot, I was accompanied by some very friendly church goers!). If you’re in this area and looking for a good community and impactful sermons, I’d highly suggest Storyline!”

Also there's an Atari Jaguar but it's just on display you can't play it there is no Neo Geo 3DO Philips CDI Turbo-graphfx 16etc is either because it's not hooked up or it's in storage which is unfortunate but it makes sense because of the limited space in the museum
It's only $20 to get in daily but if you want a membership for one person in the entire year and $200 for a families up to four”
“This place is friendly and, for a non-profit bike shop, actually fairly well organized! Stand space and tools for a fair price if you want to wrench on your bike, help and guidance for free. The volunteers who work there clearly care about making the space accessible to everyone regardless of experience. Don’t begrudge them for their limited hours — it’s just based on how many people volunteer.”

“The seats were uncomfortable and cramp but worse are the floor boards that are loose. Makes it hard for an elderly crowd to walk on. The theater is bit run down, but I like the overall design. Sound is better at top than in the middle of theater.”

“Rocket Dog is so great, there prices for adoption are on point, dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped. They even offer a refund (minus a 100) if the dog happens to need to be rehomed. Volunteers, the owner & everyone there (including highschool volunteers) all seem to care.
They even give away free stuff to community members, as well as offer vaccine clinics, every thing regarding this place is HIGHLY recommended, they will guide your to finding the right dog for you and your family or whatever situation you're in.
Often have great fundraisers all over Berkeley & Oakland!”

“What a place! My daughter has learned her hiphop here affordably and flexibly. The facility is gorgeous and the people are welcoming. It is really well run and you can’t find a better value and community. My son just started too! I am really appreciative of Destiny Arts Center and am glad they are here and growing. Dance is great for all personalities for self confidence, athleticism, and social discussion; all things my kids have learned here.”
“Oakland Nature Friends is a nature-loving hiking club and an excellent place for yearly German dances and German festivals. I attended the Biergartenfest 2018 and it is such a beautiful location. I enjoyed the entertainment. The costumed NF Schuhplatter dancers were fun. The German beer and food was delicious. I can't wait for Octoberfest.”

“My daughter started attending nearly a month ago and we love this place. Everyone talks about the great community and it really is. It's also a serious practice without being dominated by a bunch of swaggering gym bros (having a charismatic woman leading the program really helps with the welcoming energy). Classes are helpfully a full hour instead of a mere 45 minutes where the parent is essentially held hostage on the sidelines b/c it's not enough time to go anywhere to run errands. And in an era of exorbitant monthly membership fees on par with a utility bill, Kajukenbo is an unheard of by-donation program open to all. It's so great to see a diversity of kids thriving here.”

I joined in 2008 and participated frequently in their after school programs, college tours, summer camps, you name it . Fast forward to 2018 and I am now a college graduate with a stable job. They are a partner in my success and will always will be. Parents with daughters: this place is a godsend.”

“Wonderful organization, and a wonderful place to visit!!! Cat Town is basically cat heaven, with so many structures for the cats to climb, cozy nooks for them to snooze in, and plenty of feline company to help the shy guys come out of their shells. I love visiting the cat cafe so much that I became a volunteer so I could go more often! The staff is very friendly and super knowledgeable. I also adopted my two cats from here and they are the loves of my life <3”
