“This is one of my favorite stores in Chinatown, it's a lot like the Ben Franklin shops of my childhood. They have great toys, crafts, hardware, housewares, accessories, and pajamas and shoes, and snacks! They really do have everything. We get our house slippers here. You can't beat their prices and the owners are pleasant.”

While it's a smaller store, the employees do an incredible job because the shelves are bursting at the seams with merchandise—it feels like they fit twice as much as they should! You'll find lots of good finds here, but be ready to navigate packed aisles.
The service is exceptional: the staff is great and work hard to keep everything running despite the volume of customers. Plus, the security guard is super friendly, which always makes the atmosphere welcoming.
I'll be honest, the parking isn't great, but it works if you're patient. And yes, you might encounter long lines due to how popular this location is, but the savings is worth the hassle. For incredible deals on household items and spontaneous finds, this is a beloved Oakland spot.”
