5:30 pm Monday 4/22/24. I wanted some cold cuts @ the Deli Counter..... EIGHT PEOPLE WAITING IN LINE. ONE Person behind counter. SAD. What happened hiring enough employees? STAFF YOUR STORE! I turned around and walked out of the store. I went to Farmer Joe's. No wait. Excellent service (unlike Safeway).

They continue to price gouge and cheap customers in BOGO deals. How is a box of softdrink cans suddenly $14 for 8 cans "but one get one free". Then when sale is done, boxes got back to being 7.50? Managers say out of their control: Corporate dictates. This is why I am boycotting Safeway for the foreseeable future.

No, this may be strange, but Safeway actually makes some pretty good sushi. I was quite surprised so if you're looking for something in a pinch, I would say it's definitely worth trying I tried looking for some photos but I can't seem to find any but give it a try.
