“Let me start with the customer service from This place. I only met Don and Matt yet. But heard very good things about Emily and the other folks here too. As a business owner I know how important it is to keep your clients happy. And so those guys. They are polite, knowledgeable and won't hesitate to share their knowledge with you. Thanks to them we were able to catch a really good amount of fish's at the Delta even with horrible weather conditions. Their place is clean, we'll organized and have all you need for your fishing trip, and the most important thing is... Smile in their face from the moment they open the store at 5Am. Great job guys. “Boards 'N More is a very beautiful store. As someone who is into skateboarding I highly enjoy the selection of equipment that they have available. They have products from high end decks, trucks, bearings and wheels; while having a good selection of more affordable price options. If you are into longboarding I would also highly recommend this store because the owner has a wide variety of (pre-built) completes, wheels, bearings, and a small but high quality selection of equipment as well like slide gloves and safety gear.

With those basics aside it's a very warm welcoming store. It is run by a family and has that touch to it being a family-owned business in a way. It's not like Mainland or Zumiez where the atmosphere is rather deadening and dull. The store also has tons of clothing for men and women and wake surfing boards I believe too, but do not quote me on that.

I say all that to say that there are so many options in this store that objectively there is a high selection of clothing here for men and women. This business replaces having to go to Zumiez or Mainland. Being one of (I believe) two skate shops in the East Bay Area this one is a better option than the other in Walnut Creek.

The customer service (again) is great! The time they take out to help you with clothes or even putting together a board or changing out your parts is also great. You may even test out your build after paying for the parts and come right back in and make adjustments without feeling awkward or uncomfortable coming in and out of the store and they are knowledgeable.

I know this shop is located further into the East Bay Area but it's truly worth it. Taking hour bus rides from where I had been living to get to here was worth it. There's a gas station right next to the location which is nice for filling up your car and/or testing your build near the open alley on the side and/or right in front of the store.

The more I go in depth on the review of Boards 'N More the more I appreciate what it has to offer in the future for myself and what it has provided for me in the past as someone who longboards at a rather extreme level. I will always support local business but specifically I will always support this local shop for my needs because it's worth every penny!

Go if you are able to make time because I highly recommend a trip here!”

“Customer service was great! I called for some info on a sale they were running for a specific product. They went above and beyond to make sure the item was in stock and put the item on hold for me. When I went in the purchase they helped me load into my car (it was a very heavy punching bag).”

“Went to this store to pickup some sneakers for my children, lots of choices, big store. I would have given 5 starts but as large as this place is the air conditioner DEFINITELY should have been on. The young lady working was doing multiple jobs at once and you could see she was overwhelmed with little help. She definitely doesn't deserve to work in those ridiculously hot conditions nor does anyone else. I was in the store approximately 25 minutes and was dripping sweat. My kids were complaining too.”

“Every time I need a present for my husband and can't figure out something, I go to Sports Fever. They have a good selection of local teams plus other teams -- including the Padres (who are my husband's favorite baseball team). I have gotten 49ers jerseys there and recently bought a great long sleeved 49ers shirt and travel mug. I can always find something great and sometimes unusual (obviously all sports related). They are always on my Christmas list as a store to visit!”

“Gave this location a second chance and glad I did — since my first visit management seems to have responded to customer concerns and adjusted the level of staffing in the firearm/hunting department. Expect a wait, but the ticket system was smooth and the staff were communicative. Once you get to actually completing the transaction it’s an efficient process, shoutout to SW for the effective use of technology and the expertise of the staff processing all the paperwork, who double/triple check everything to ensure no surprises from the Feds. This location seems particularly well stocked (especially good ammo selection) and the banter behind the counter is always fun — gun/freedom loving patriots doing the best they can to serve their (diverse assortment of) customers in this whacky state…”
