“One of, if not the best, places to find a wide assortment of minerals in Orange County! I just discovered the place a few days ago and my only regret would be that I never found out about it earlier. Walter, the owner, is a retired geologist, and has a vast background regarding Mineralogy and Geology. He is kind and knowledgeable about any questions you may have about his specimens. By simply visiting the store, you have the opportunity to learn so much about different minerals, fossils, gems, etc. The minerals themselves are incredible, collected from various regions around the world. They are reasonably priced, and there's a huge selection so you're basically guaranteed to find something within your budget. Nevada Mineral & Book Co is now my go-to for building my collection. To my fellow geologists as well as non-geologists, I can't recommend this place enough. I really wish this place got more business!”
