“I like to order pickup early and get gas after. It's never crowded in the morning which is nice. There's no one lingering around asking for change or gas. The price of regular is probably the lowest around. The pumps are functional and I good working order. Plenty of windshield warsh liquid and the scrubber is in good condition.”
“The lines are always long because their prices are lower than most gas stations but I'm giving it 5 stars because I was having trouble with my card and there was an attendant there that was extremely helpful. I wish I knew his name so I could include him in this review.”

“I cheated on this Costco with the new one on Baseline Rd. Big regerts. Getting in and out of this parking lot isn't my favorite thing to do, but it sure beats a trip to India that I didn't ask for. Good selection, nice employees, Roseville vibes. Never change.”

“It's a little far from my house, but it's a very spacious, clean store with a wide selection of products.
I only buy a few items, so having a self-checkout is very helpful.
Sometimes it's fun to talk to the cashier, but in many places the attitude of the cashier is very different between customers who buy only a few items and customers who buy a whole shopping cart, which can be unpleasant. However, here, it's a self-service cashier, so it's stress-free.
So, even though it's a little far from home, I started coming here.”

“I was initially nervous when I heard the previous owners retired because I’ve had so many poor experiences with larger pharmacies. Thankfully, the new owners have been just as wonderful—friendly, thorough, and genuinely caring. Their customer service is excellent, and I really appreciate that they called to let me know my prescription was ready. It’s such a refreshing change from spending forever on hold with larger pharmacy chains. I’m grateful to have a local pharmacy that continues to provide such personalized care. Highly recommend!”
“Will always go to Sam’s club over other options. Parking lot always has spots, gas discount is amazing, never too crowded, and scan & go app is super fast! Food court is the best value in Placer, can’t go wrong with lunch combo under $2. Highly recommend, especially if you don’t want to fight with crowds at the other warehouse store.”
“Five star service. Clinix provides home delivery within one day. We tried one prescription at first and never looked back. Mohamed is very easy to reach and patiently helps us with our pharma needs. “Wonderful pharmacy! Pharmacist Thu is the best for giving vaccinations, no pain! Both my husband and I agree she is the most gentle! Also very knowledgeable! And John is Very Kind, Helpful and Knowledgeable! We are always pleased when he waits on us! Makes our visit pleasant! Previously went to Safeway at Madison for many years and had lots of problems. Switched to Dewey and we are very happy we did!”
“I typically shop at Costco. But Sams Club has 1 product Costco doesn't carry and all other stores (even Walmart) sells for 2-5x more, Water softener salt pellets, 40lb bags for ~$7. The savings on this 1 product alone pays for the membership. Some of their produce is superior to other stores like Costco and wholefoods. They also have better prices on brown cagefree pasture raised eggs. They recently started making Members Mark beef sticks and more recently Jalapeno Beef sticks which are AMAZING, now I no longer buy Costco's Kirkland beef sticks.”

“The parking lot continues to be questionable to the establishment of CVS and the lack of Wi-Fi is very concerning around that location, but the staff is pretty mightily helpful and terrific use of technology.
The restrooms are getting better with the spacing and soap. It does leave a lot to be desired with the hand drying mechanisms but at least the standard sanitary availability is present.
The workers will vary depending on their training and how much workload they are demanded to carry thtroughout.
Pretty impressive that they can continue to strive for better service as the company is struggling to make profit as they used to.
The environment is favorable to the general area of Rocklin and a chunk of Placer County that needs to access their meds though the store hours does need a deeper look.”

“When Rite Aide ceased I went to CVS, the store was next to Safeway. Then CVS moved into Target. I needed an item, which at the prior location CVS, carried. CVS has 0 in Stock at this location. I ordered online from a vendor, the size was wrong. I have to return for refund. I have always had a good experience at CVS, until the store not having this item. The competitor has this item.”

“I was introduced to this incredible pharmacy when I needed a prescription filled for my dog, and I am so grateful she led me here. Dawn welcomed me to wait in the lobby instead of my car, and Tamera came out of her office to offer me snacks - string cheese, yogurt, and candy - when she noticed I hadn't eaten. I left with my pup's medication, a bag of treats for her, and sweet treats for me.
Sadly, we won't be back for refills; we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl shortly after. But the gentleness, warmth, and genuine care that Dawn and Tamera showed me in one of my hardest moments will never be forgotten. This pharmacy is a true gem, and our community is lucky to have them.”
“Shout out to the very busy staff of the the food court. I went on a half hour before closing to pick up pizzas for my kids for dinner. Even with a malfunctioning ice cream machine and usual 466347 customers orders to process, the staff were quick, courteous and even apologetic for supposedly longer wait times. They all do a fantastic job, especially Michael! Keep up the great work!”

“Stopped by at Folson to charge our Tesla.itnonly took about 5 minutes to charge our Tesla and we are ready to go again. Went to this Sam's club on a Sunday at around 10am. The store was pretty empty and there were no lines on the check out stations. We went to buy 2 pizza combos and used the restrooms. The restroom was clean and the service was fast.”

“James from the Tire Center was super helpful. He helped me twice when my Husband's tire blew. He advised me what to do and helped me order the tire we needed. I set up an appointment once we got the tire and a different person was supposed to help us, but didn't provide much help. I had to reschedule an appointment to get my tire put on and luckily, James was there. He squared us away. I am super grateful for him and the dudes that were working today. He has great customer service, he was friendly, informative, and helpful.”

“We use Safeway pharmacy for all our pharmacy needs (which I will admit are not huge needs). I absolutely love the staff there. While I can't name everyone in the pharmacy, Marika (Pharm. D.) and Sue (pharm tech) waited on me today. I walked in for the TDaP and Pneumococcal vaccines, and Marika is as skilled with a needle as any phlebotomist I've ever been to. Found out a year or so ago that pharmacists receive EXTENSIVE training on injections and I can state categorically, as a person with a near pathological fear of needles, that every experience I've had with Safeway pharmacy has been better than any experience I've ever had with a doctor wielding a needle.
As far as filling Rxes, I get text alerts when Rxes are ready, I get Rxes filled very quickly (between my visit to my PCP in Folsom and the 15 minutes it takes me to get out of Dr and drive home), they work closely with my Doctors to make sure I get refills promptly when I need more authorizations, they inform me of generic alternatives if the Dr doesn't write a generic name, they are not just polite but are even fun to work with and we joke around if I initiate it, they have great, convenient hours, and they have even transferred prescriptions to other stores at the drop of a hat, after ensuring said other Safeway has a supply of what we need.
Let me also say this: I have been going to Safeway Pharmacy for well on 8 years after leaving Kaiser 10 years ago. I chose Walgreen's first and I can tell you that I've had numerous conversations with the Walgreen's pharmacy manager, store manage (8230 SARATOGA WAY) and even their corporate offices about their (lack of) service (and staffing), which uniformly stunk like an open sewer. (I'm trying to avoid profanity here. :-) )
I suspect but cannot prove the negative reviews on Google were left by malcontents whose business Safeway would be better off without.”

“I have had a nightmare of a time finding a pharmacy since Rite Aid closed. CVS was terrible and Walgreens seems to dislike all of their customers. Called Sam's Club to see if I could transfer my prescriptions there and the person I spoke with was so nice and helpful. I didn't get my hopes up but when it came time to fill those prescriptions they were amazing again! Then I went tpick up my prescription and I got to meet Lizzy. She was the sweetest person I have ever spoken with at a pharmacy. Everyone there is so nice and helpful!!!!”
